Wishing all of you a Very Happy New Year and to you and your bride Happy Anniversary. Enjoy your trip.
ОтветитьDid you have any noticeable results from where you spread urea this spring?
ОтветитьNathan could it be that soybeans need some stress to encourage the plant to reproduce?
ОтветитьSo, the theory could be if the plant gets its nutrients via roots, it wouldn't absorb much more via foliar, but when the soil is depleted it works via leaf?
But maybe it's the environment/climate on the day of spraying? Maybe a test plot with different days of spraying would be interesting.
Could you do 2 passes with the drone in order to equalize the carrier rate issue found here?
Holy cow, that's interesting stuff right here.
Happy new year, Nathan and the whole family. <3
ОтветитьI recommend doing skip passes when doing trials. Fields can vary alot with elevation
ОтветитьThanks for the information . great video
ОтветитьReally ENJOY watching your COMPARISON on what you have done on your crops cant wait to see what you have planned for next year and that Drone in Action!!!
Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!
Great video, it's nice to see some of my neighbors in Clarksville make the list. Had a feeling it was going to be a good year around here, the rain came when it was needed.
ОтветитьWhere the hagie ran out and upped the carrier rate his boom lines weren't mixed for a higher carrier rate..like ur previous map where ur dad sprayed. That couple rounds probably got 33% extra fungicide. I figure 30-40 gallons in all the lines
ОтветитьYour early season corn is our really pushing the growing window late season corn. 😂
ОтветитьGood morning, Happy Anniversary, Happy New Year! Nathan, have you thought about planting sacrificial 03U08D near the coon tree lined fields?
ОтветитьTried the source products on my corn and beans…Garbage!
ОтветитьWe’re on opposite ends of the ag spectrum as far as how we farm. Organic no till, controlled traffic, full circle including protein, vs. very much information based conventional.
I’ll give you this, you are straight up, putting yourself in the public takes a lot of something that I don’t have in me, and quite frankly, you are anal enough to farm like me, and be good/successful at it. That last part is a huge compliment. I’ve had conventional producers approach me and expect me to tell them if it would work for them. I tell 99% “no, you’ll go broke” … because that’s the honest truth. If a conventional producer isn’t working twice as hard as all their peers already, they will never survive the transition. You would, hands down.
Cheers😅
Was there any noticeable difference in the chicken water or did I miss that info ?
ОтветитьEnjoy the ski slopes! As a Colorado native I have never skied! At 51 doubtful I ever will, I would rather be warm than play in the snow.
ОтветитьCan not wait to see what you try next.
ОтветитьYou should do an irrigated plot next year
ОтветитьGood afternoon from Lebanon, Ohio.
ОтветитьHappy New Year and Anniversary. Thank you!!!
ОтветитьI have heard as you probably have to that spraying fungicide early in the morning when there is still dew on the corn can help with coverage
ОтветитьIt would be an interesting video if you did profitability of corn wheat and bean with current input and sale prices. No need to divulge your own data but use average price and rough yield and sale prices in your ball park. Show where things lie financially and examples of new tractor bean planter or sprayer costs so viewers understand reality instead of say "oh buy a new 9R"
ОтветитьHow about the fish stuff you where putting on?
ОтветитьHappy new year to everyone
ОтветитьOur worst beans were our longest season irritated beans cost
ОтветитьThe only test I had come out positive this year was increasing our liquid sidedress pass by 4 gallons per acre. Gave me a 10-13 bushel increase in a couple different fields.
ОтветитьGood morning. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.
ОтветитьHappy new year to you and your family
ОтветитьAn early Happy New Year to the Borderview Farms family, God Bless all y’all 🇺🇸
ОтветитьAlthough I don't grow corn / soybeans / wheat, it's interesting to see the results. I remember all of these applications throughout the past year and it is interesting to see the final results. I wish I could be involved in trials like this. I'm looking forward to following along with next year's adventures.
ОтветитьNice job showing yield results. Interesting, Thanks.
ОтветитьNathan and your family have a happy New Year.🎉🎉🎉🍾🍾🍾
ОтветитьHappy new year and happy anniversary!! Enjoy the slopes!
ОтветитьExcellent content
Ответить❤ from Norway
ОтветитьHappy New Year from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. 😎🇺🇸
ОтветитьGreat content as always Nathan!
ОтветитьIs the chicken litter nitrogen included in your nitrogen goal?
ОтветитьHEY HEY NATHAN!!! and CREW!! :) was watching the TRACTOR PULLS and saw ''GOLDEN HARVEST'' and the SMILIE GENE SIMMONS TOUNGE STIKIN OUT logo ;) not really but inmy mind I saw the ''sprout'' as GENE SIMMONS's long mouth thang... lol ;) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH anyhow,
HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!
HAPPY HOLY DAYS !!!
I hope you had a MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!
and
MAKE GOOD CHOICES !!!! :)
BE GOOD
DO GOOD
and THINK NO THING BUT GOOD THOUGHTS !!!
it all matters!!!
LOVE TO YOU ALL !!! :)
You do a great job of analyzing the benefits of each application of products on the crops, but you never look at fuel consumption. In the past you have said that fuel is just the cost of doing business, so you don't track it. What is the difference in fuel consumption when chiseling 9 inches deep versus discing 6 inches deep?
ОтветитьDid you do any testing on V5 fungicide application this year?
ОтветитьOur theory on the fungicide is that if the corn is stressed, it's best to spray with a ground rig at that 20 gal an acre rate, but if the corn is healthy, you can go lower on the volume of carrier. This is just what we have found on our farm. It's good to see it looks that way on your maps, too.
Ответить2025!!!!!!!
ОтветитьIt's been very profitable in 2024 despite being a very wet year around here
Ответить👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьGreat analysis! Irrigation makes a huge difference--but we knew that already. The 360Rain is obviously a big upgrade over the hard-hose traveler and it was cool watching you work with it this year. Any estimate for how long it will take to pay off, when you consider the improved coverage and reduced labor for you and your team?
