I bought Mi Smart Air Conditioner Controller 2 because of your video. I can't pair my air conditioner. I use Vestel Inverter and I tried all of them in list but not working. I am near to crazy :(

Do you need to connect the ac's plug to the ac controller? I have a bulit-in AC socket with the ac switch away from the ac, right next to the light switches.

Hi, just wondering if it works with window type inverter aircon? Also is Fujidenzo under the brand selection portion of the app? My aircon's remote is gone and if there's no Fujidenzo brand then I won't be able to manually add my aircon as well because I lost the remote.

Will this AC smart controller also works with bluetooth temperature and humidity sensors which are already set-up within a same home or it can react only to ZigBee sensors?

I can not find the menu where i can add my own remote codes? There is no such option under "plugged in AC" (and my AC is plugged in via the module)?

Only one BIG PROBLEM with Xiaomi home. You can NOT connect items to Xiaomi home EUROPEAN (of other country) server if you buy the Xiaomi items from China, then you MUST use Chinese server= EXTREMELY SLOW CONNECTION (10 second minimum to connect) & Chinese language for messages & Chinese radio on this specific AC item. Besides i can not find my portable AC unit. It seems like this one is only for REAL INSTALLED AC units. Have been requesting support for my AC for years since i got it but not a single response from Xiaomi. My remote is broken, so i can not program it either

Tried this, it never works or connects to the app. Xiaomi makes crap that looks nice, and no matter how long you wait, they will never make anything for purchase outside the Chinese market (no language support, etc.). Don't waste your time with this company.

I would like to know the difference between this first generation Aqara Air Conditioner Gateway and the Mijia Air Conditioning Companion 2. Can I still interface the Mijia Air Conditioning Companion 2 with door and movement sensors or will I need a separate gateway?

What is the difference between the square plugs with the grill and the square plugs without the grill on the side?

Thanks for the video, very helpful. My AC is hardwired, but I’d still be interested in this gateway, paired with a temp/humidity sensor, just for the infrared controls. Will it still work without the AC being plugged into it? Of course I know that the power management wouldn’t work in this case.

Two things bother me: Does the adapter switch the AC power on and off from time to time? If so it can be a bad idea,. I hope it doesn't. About location: Since the AC control is IR, I assume it has to be located in a specific way to allow direct line, with no obstacles. In my case, the power socket is on the side on the AC, so perhaps Infrared extender will be required as well. Where is the IR transmitter of the hug located? on all edges?

My AC has no plugs how?? All 4 indoor units linked to a central compressor… only access to the remote…

Anyone know how to pair this on an australian iphone? I've wasted a bunch of money not realising about the plug change and well, it's just a brick to me if I can't get it at least IR controlling my wifi

Weird - Air conditioners should never use a plug to connect to electricity - they need to be connected directly to the grid. All modern air conditioners have already WiFi connection built in. Mine are LG controlled via the Smart Thing App.

I bought th xiaomi IR remote but it can not control my AC just the TV is working. I think this will have the same problem and just only control AC list by xiaomi on their app

I have a question, is the plug size on this the same as this gateway ? I have just bought this gateway... But it's plug is huge... And doesn't fit in my plugs in Australia... I was wondering is the Smart plug sockets the same size as the gateway... Here in Australia we have the type I like China and Newzealand... But it's larger like you mentioned..m

I have this getaway and it was working great! But after a reset it started to blink red and I’m not able to pair it anymore...any idea on what happened? I’m going crazy!

I wish I could see more info on the motion sensor integration fo r the unit to detect when a door is open. Can you create a delay like 60 seconds so only after the door is open for more than 60 seconds it shuts it down?

Have you tried what loud the alarm sounds? I want only one alarm with one door sensor, and I don't know if this gateway sounds as loud as the other gateways or not. I prefer this because is cheaper. Some suggestion?
