Why won't it go into 3rd gear after all adjustments? The wheel locks up

When you pull the pin out how do u know what gear it's in?

My 3rd gear will lick up on me

Does this also hold for the Nexus 8 speed? (namely the gear being a bit louder in higher gears and the clicking).

Also, is it normal to be able to feel the clicking through the crank a little when in a higher gear and pedalling quite hard?

Yeah its normal but not silent like Shimano suggest on the hub lol

I guess the 3rd gear was cut short, due to it sounding so bad... Reminded me of the sound of a dry chain on a poorly adjusted rear derailleur.

I noticed my clicking noise change and now it’s now shifting properly. It’s properly adjusted for 2nd gear marker. What kind of maintenance would it need?

My Priority with a 3-speed Nexus bike makes clunking noises in 1st gear and only when I am going up a steep hill. It feels like something needs to be tightened but I can't find anything loose. I had to adjust it when it was new because it wouldn't go into 1st at all.

I had to come back to this video again because I was under the impression my Classic Plus would ride mostly silent. It makes that clicking in 2nd and 3rd gears since day one when I took delivery of it in April. I guess everything is operating as it should.

bro. mad thoughtful of you to take the time to make this. just got my first geared bike ever at 29 yo but the derailer design is far too.... messy looking (for lack of better terminology) for someone so strict when it comes to the aesthetics of the bike being as minimalistic as possible. anyways, was tripping a little bit about the noise but lucky enough to find this video before i ended up doing a full teardown of the thing. much appreciated. liked and subscribed. wish your business the best of success.
