On one of my numerous visit to Maldon Hospital (full of super mutants), I stole an electrified serrated Chinese officer sword from one of the super mutants, and I also happened to have found a makeshift battery (not sure if the two are linked), but suddenly my serrated sword had a damage value of 300+, if you then put it in your workshop, it loses the added damage 😵

Theres a chemistry station you can move over to your house early. Its behind one of the houses by the bridge where you put water purifiers in sanctuary

I will always love fallout 4 as my favorite fallout game I just wish Bethesda would've given more attention when they did the current gen update as the game randomly freezes or crashes out of nowhere especially when I try to save

Recently returned to Fallout 4 and I always play survival mode, but the VATS Crashing seems to be getting worse and worse as the game progresses. I've tried all the old tricks to mitigate it (making sure I'm fed and watered before combat, window mode rather than full screen) but it still happens with great frequency. Any other tips?

Survival in New Vegas is so much better

When you loot bodies and take their ammo, even if their gun is one you don't want grab it and drop it after. Most of the time you'll get the ammo it has loaded in it. Not always but I'd say I get ammo about 90% of the time when I grab it off an enemy. Idk if it's in the vid as I just started it.

Nothing makes me happy like codsworth with his hat coming at me with full speed like:

"Mister Morgan!"

Us accomplished Fallout 4 players know how to have a lot of fun with the sarcasm in the dialogue. Like you can be a good guy and still drop a ton of jokes like, “yep… seen it all before!” 🤣

If yoy wanna level up fast creater a gunner farm and also if you need caps build as much water purifiers as possible. The best places are sanctuary and the castle 1000 bottle water is like 10k caps.

yeah, use scrap everything to completely clean your settlement and you end up on nexus and cry about how broke your game is and blame bethesda for your graphic glichtes, frame drops, freezes and ctd's. 😂

Does the next-gen release fix the npc pathing issue in hangman’s alley? There is an entire section of the settlement that is a pathing dead zone.

Yes a power armor will give you 11 star worth of carry weight, it also negates any worn equipment. Namely, backpacks which were added in the next gen upgrade’s included creations.

Solution: when you hit capacity, remove core from your power armor after going to the closest map icon and then fast travel to a merchant/base to dump inventory. Then you can fast travel back to your armor without having to leave anything behind. It’s like a 25 pound difference between 11 str and mid strength+backpack bonus.

Try and get the charisma bobblehead as soon as possible because I spent like 100 hours on a survival mode character (that I really liked and wanted to get everything with) only to have one of the quests bugged and impossible to complete because Emogene Cabot doesn’t show up. I even clipped through a door locked with a key in Cabot House where the quest marker moved to and she still wasn’t there. I would’ve assumed the next Gen update would’ve fixed that.

Even without a tier 4 vendor, a tier 4 Restaurant/Bar gets you a good shot at 3 Nuka-Cola Quantums on any given visit. Just be sure to get the Project Cobalt schematics from the Secure Beverageer Lab. It's amusing to watch a settler with a squirt gun take down a Brotherhood knight.

If you progress with the MinuteMen and Preston Garvey to the point where he asks you if you want to be general, DO NOT ANSWER. Just walk away mid dialogue. This allows you to do all of raider Nuka World - including attacking your own settlements - without taking your MinuteMen options away. You just go back to him, and he resumes the dialogue option of asking you to be general. All of Nuka World with no MinuteMen consequences.

Welp, I've been playing Fallout 4 for a few years, and im JUST now learning that i can give a human companion bobby pins and then ask them to unlock stuff.

Go figure. I always thought they had to have the ability to pick locks for them to be able to do that.

Fallout is skyrim with diabetes

Use [Square Brackets] to rename items to put them at the bottom of your INV, so you can see all the items you can safely sell right at the top when you go to a shop.

During Survival mode, you can drop certain items like meat and ammo in bundles and pick them up physically and carry them. It’s handy in a pinch.

Get dogmeat to search for items near the cryolator and he'll pick it up

Actually dont scrap everything cause shit respawn in them aka free loot 🤷‍♂️ but sure scrap it to build it god i hate and like settlements 🙄 either let us scrap everything or able to fix the building

best tip is to launch fallut 4 through F4SE so game doesnt update to next gen

If playing on Survival and you’re worried about the reduced carry weight, don’t. You can order your companions to pick up any loot scattered on the floor, and they will pick it up even if their inventory is already full. So someone like Piper with a carry capacity of one hundred can carry in excess of one thousand loot if need be.

A way I got alot of caps out the gate, was to go nuts on the water purifiers. That was my main mission when I started, gather enough resources to build as many as you can on as many settlements as you can. I maxed out 3 settlements (sanctuary, taffington boathouse, and vault 88) at 999 water. I got THOUSANDS of purified water before level 12. Unlimited money fast. There was nothing I couldn't buy or upgrade.😊
