Yes fast no bs straight to teaching thank you 😮
Ответитьback when people made video to actually just help
Ответитьi was able to replace the broken strap with a strap from a previous f-91w that had a broken face, thank you! i knew it was the right idea to keep the old broken one 😂
ОтветитьLegend, thank you!
ОтветитьI have nothing in my house small enough to put in the hole
ОтветитьGreat video! Had the watch years and the strap broke, just replaced it with a nato style strap. Tool wise - I used a corn on the cob holder. Worked perfect
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьI cant get it to work. Every paper clip just breaks and now my case is ruined. They made it really difficult to replace the strap.
ОтветитьExcellent, thank you.
ОтветитьI tried to do this tonight, pushing in the direction of the arrow. I used a push pin, safety pin, sewing pin, large and small sized paper clips, sim card remover, entomology pin. I tried grabbing it with pliers and pushing with all my might. I couldn't get the rod out. So, I gave up and just decided to wear it with the original strap. I figure the watch is so cheap that it's not worth buying whatever the tool is for that.
Ответитьthank you!
ОтветитьHello! Thanks for the video, it's really helpful! I used the tool that comes with a cellphone to open the sim tray, it works too! I wonder if after 8 years that you published this video your watch still have the same battery, they told me that it lasted for about 10 years?
ОтветитьThank you so much! I am wearing a w91 since at least 15 years and before that in school. Most of the times when the wristband broke I bought a new one but kept the old ones in my drawer. One is already on my wrist again. Another one will be repaired later. So helpful! You made my day, thanks again!
ОтветитьThank you! I love my watch and didn't want to have to buy a new one.
ОтветитьBrilliant!
ОтветитьThank you for posting. Super helpful
ОтветитьThanks for this explanation. It's unfortunate that eight years after you made this, it's hard to find cheap Casio-compatible bands on eBay, the market seemingly dominated by bands for smart watches. Amazon has a few, but they're $10 - 12, and at that point you might as well buy a whole new watch. Sad.
ОтветитьWorked like a charm, thanks a bunch sir!
ОтветитьYeah, I recently discovered those watches didnt have proper springbars too... thankfully I didnt do too much damage until then, LOL.
But frankly the best thing to do once the original straps have fallen off (which they will invariably do after three years at most), is to put a NATO strap on that watch. Cheaper and far more rugged, and your watch will be protected against falling off from a torn strap much better too.
Even if one bar gets torn out or breaks the watch will still hold on to the strap with the other bar.
I scratched myself with trying to remove the pin with a knife as i always did since years when i had to.. it always took minutes sometimes hours of sweat and high pulse…than I watched the video and successfully did it in 10 seconds. 😂 thank you
Ответитьmy strap doens't have an arrow and i can't seem to push it out either way!
ОтветитьDec 2022 review: The band on my casio calculator watch that I've worn for 12+ years has broken. I was devastated and about to spend US $45+ on ebay for another. But after seeing this video, I purchased the band instead for $8 and now know how to replace it myself. Thanks for the help
ОтветитьThanks so much for this! I have a W-86 and there were no arrows on the strap but your paperclip-pliers trick worked perfectly. I had to use a bit more force, but maybe just because my watch is so old (10 years+!) Thanks again! :)
ОтветитьHelloo do these affordable Casio digital watches use the same quartz movement. Movements like f-91w,a168,w-86 etc??
ОтветитьThat's terrible. I assumed it was a spring loaded bar. But thanks for that. I'll have another go.
ОтветитьThank you, it worked!
ОтветитьThank you dude. It helped me alot. 😊
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you.
ОтветитьMate you're a life saver. I was so gutted when mine got broken I had it for many years
ОтветитьThanks. Very helpful
ОтветитьThanks David - I was struggling to figure this one out until watching your clear video.Cheers!
ОтветитьThanks!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьLegend!
ОтветитьCheers. That was really helpful and nice tip with the plyers! Thanks!
ОтветитьI had to use aaaall the strength but finally!! Thanks! 🙂🥲
ОтветитьHelped me in the first minute
ОтветитьWhy is my pin so freaking hard 😂
ОтветитьThank you for this video. The arrows really did prove to be useful! I used the technique you described and I was able to get my old strap off!
Ответитьthanks hehe, i think its same like normaly pin,
I almst broken my watch,
Im lucky, cz watchng ths vdeo
thanks
Thanks! It is a very useful video
ОтветитьExcellent, thank you.
I assumed the pin was one of the spring-loaded variety.
Thanks man, it's really helpful.
ОтветитьThis doesn't work with the buckle pin. It won't budge no matter how hard I pushed it - tried from either side.
What gives ?
Thanks. A real timesaver!
ОтветитьUnfortunately didn't work for me. The pin will not budge.
ОтветитьThis is so helpful! Thanks for uploading!
ОтветитьThis was great, thank you very much.
ОтветитьMy pins were a nightmare to come out. Bent multiple paperclips, broke my phone sim remover tool too. Way more stuck in than this vid. Ended up having to use the smallest hexagonal screwdriver head I have and use it like a chisel with a small hammer. Came right out.
On the downside the hexagonal screw driver head widens too much as it goes up, I pushed it in too far and split the plastic around the holes. Grrr. But I did get the pins out, they just won't stay in anymore!
Many thanks for this - just followed your instructions and it worked perfectly. One thing I would add, is putting the bar back in, make sure it's inserted all the way - it almost feels like it "clips" into place when it's there properly.
ОтветитьGreat watch; great tutorial. Every 5 years, I’ll probably be back!
