This event is like a historical event for the internet. For me it rekindled my love for anime and gaming after a break of 4 years from them.

Entertaining video, but i've got to say, have you never heard of an email interview? Or a text interview? You act like it was impossible to get an interview with the streamer since he refused to get on a video call, yet you spent considerable time corresponding with him over the internet. You could have asked questions and gotten responses that way instead. It kinda feels like you didn't want to get the streamers side of the story, and instead spread the more interesting "mysterious man behind the screen". Made for good content, but it was bad journalism/documentary.

This whole thing failed on 2 fronts.
First, the creator turned out to be a damn psycho with his threats and shit towards my community during this.
Second, the implementation of democracy mode. Thats why we tried to ruin the game. Also messing with pokemon nerds is fun 😂

I didn't participate much in the original run of TPP since I was a swamped student at the time, but seeing the memes and stories around it was really cool. I eventually got a taste of what TPP was like way later, when the channel streamed a version of Pokemon Prism. I had just graduated and time on my hand, so I actually participated more actively and made some art (for Miller the Kirlia at the time) for the run too, like many others. TPP never reached the heights of Red again, but man, even in that smaller state, that was something special.

Wow, so Destiny has always been like this.

Funny enough, TPP was the reason I created an account on twitch. I was there for the first playthrough and it was awesome. Thanks for taking me down memory lane with this one!
