Question from the UK: Here these only come in one drivetrain which is the 3.5L V6 with a CVT that makes 310HP. It is all wheeldrive, however only the 50hp electric motor runs the rear wheels and the rest of the power is sent to the front so it feels more like a front wheel drive. Mine is 7 years old with 70,000 miles. Would you still recomend this vehcle for its longevity? Unlike other CVTs, this one doesn't feel very strained, but will it realistically achieve 200,000+ miles?

Hey, Scotty. Great sales technique ..but I agree they are a fantastic vehicle. I have a Japanese-produced 2010 RX350 AWD. 122k kms on the clock and still runs awesome. I'm about to do a full 2-man brake flush. Do I also need a scantool (or Techstream) to open and purge the ABS unit when doing the flush?

Just bought a '21. 17k miles. Paid just shy of 40k dollars. Premium with 20 in wheels. Champaign color. 2 tone leather interior. My 1st Toyota product. Beautiful SUV. She loves it. They say their 3.5s has a tendency of seeping oil with a lot of miles on them. I hope not. We plan on keeping it for a long time. Will keep the oil changing every 5k miles.

Before i spend over $30K for a new Hyundai Santa Fe i bought a pre-driven '19 Lexus RX350 & it drives new plus there's nothing like the added prestige people show when driving a Lexus over a Hyundai
Although the Lexus was less than a new Hyundai i notice people still credit you with owning an expensive luxury car

That hard breaking noise was the ABS Pump pulsating the brake pads to prevent wheel lockup so you maintain steering control. All ABS systems pulsate and make that noise when you really put your leg into the break pedal.

Hey Scotty, I have a 2010 Lexus gs350 that is an awesome car , bought it in 2017 with 80,000 miles on it and have 125,000 miles on it now. I was having to put a quart of oil in it right before an oil change was due now it seems I have been putting a second quart in. It’s not leaking anywhere or burning oil so is this normal with the age and miles of the vehicle? I’ve read people have had the same issue as me and I definitely don’t want to get rid of it cuz it’s been so good to my wife and I for almost 6 years. It’s all wheel drive and a tank in the snow up here in the NE. Please let me know what I should do. Thanks brother

I’m struggling to understand who would buy the L version of the RX because it’s almost pointless. First of all, it only provides one more seat than the regular RX in a 2+2+2 configuration. Second, the third row is so constrained that it could only be used occasionally and would become unusable for growing children. People who need three rows should get a minivan. Those who want a luxury SUV should get the regular RX.
