I’ve always been confused by the turboprop engine. This is far and away the best and most understandable step by step explanation. My eyes have been opened!
ОтветитьAs per your High Standards Capt Joe, in depth of the P&W PT 6. That is fun and very informative.
Any thoughts on the GE "CATALYST" turboprop engine ? Thanks for posting Capt Joe.

Great information and presentation Capt! Thank you.
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьCharles Parsons, the primary inventor of any turbine that uses high pressure high temperature gases (gaseous water is a gas) does not get the credit that James Watt gets.
Watt made the reciprocating steam engine widely viable. But the turbine (wind turbines aren't turbines) is a huge improvement, and not "evolved" from the other.
Hands down better than my thermodynamics professors. Great explanation💯
ОтветитьToo much energy loss
ОтветитьWhat a great video! I had no idea they worked like that. Backwards?? Wow, that is counterintuitive. Airflow in a zig zag! Fascinating.
ОтветитьVery clear.
ОтветитьCaptain Joe, this is by far the best technical explanation I have ever watched on turbo prop engine operation. Great presentation!
ОтветитьA very good explanation you provided here. The design of this engine is a high tech marvel.
ОтветитьAwesome video and explanation! Thanks!!!
ОтветитьBy far, the clearest and most lucid video on Turboprop explains everything with great diagrams and models. Well-done
ОтветитьThanks for the detail info. Since about 40y ago i just fancy the tubo prop engine. Now i jnow why. Its unique and good.
Ответить💫💫💫💫💫
ОтветитьThey work well.
ОтветитьEpic E1000 GX uses a Pt6a-67a.
Climbs like a homesick angel
Suck. Squeeze. Bang. Blow. I always knew aviation engineers were perverts.
ОтветитьThank you very much now I know how a turbo prop engine works😊😊😊
ОтветитьDear Joe first thanks for the great content you provide , I have a little irrelevant question which has many contradicting answers on the web, which is more complicated than the other, the internal combustion engine or the jet engine, thus which is more reliable and easier to maintain ?? Thanks in advance and keep on the great job 👍💪💪🛩️🛫🛫
