there is a mistake, activists are acting people, going by laws and enhancing laws in the government,

Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International don't give a rat's ass about human rights. They just tow U.S/NATO foreign policy to give their respective rulers in Washington, London, Paris, Berlin, Brussels, etc their "human rights" credentials. A large number of their "Prisoners of Conscience" were some of the most vile reactionary scum.

I'm not a fan of Putin. However, within weeks of Crimea rejoining Russia he signed a declaration restoring the rights of Crimean Tatars to their native region including their language being given official status second to Russian. Something the Ukrainians never did. In fact Kiev until 2014 regarded Crimean Tatars as little more than a surplus population.
