i was actually there when this was shot. besides that fact that this is a movie it transports a very strong emotion, also because it was shot at the "bendlerblock" where stauffenberg was acutally executed. to it's on stauffenbergstrasse in berlin.

the film fell apart before the end when the gsarrison commanderr realized the fraud and says 'we're the rebellion" they could have salvbaged by doing a fgade out at the end like in schindler's list, the place where they were shot still exists and has a meorial palque on it fade from the film ot the modern real place and tell the audience, this was real, in terms they can't ignore.
