ОтветитьCharlie..I moved up her to Denver n tried using red and yellow peppers……. A babe ‘ let me tell you it was delish ….. but what I found was for that famous taste you got to use a green bell pepper in the bunch ….. I also added them in a tomato sauce…. Delish ✌🏽♥️😇

ОтветитьI make stuffed bell peppers a lot. I only use green peppers and I cut them like boats like Charlie. I don't like the ones cutoff at the top. I also parboil my peppers. I always use ground beef because it's cheaper. And I do add rice, tomato sauce, cheddar cheese, onion, celery, worcestershire sauce & lots of Mexican seasoning. I pour tomato sauce over the peppers & in the bottom of the pan. I cover with foil & bake. After it's done, I cover the peppers with cheese, let it melt and it has a nice sauce.
I am going to make NOLA style peppers when I can afford shrimp & crab. It looks delicious. 😋

ОтветитьIf you put them in the freezer, what do you have to do to prepare them to be used? Do you need to thaw them out first or can you put them directly in the oven? Should it be at 350 or another temperature and how long shall it cook for?

But what you said about no one but those in New Orleans make shrimp stock the way y'all do. I have lived in TN/ GA all my life and I wanted shrimp stock one day and decided I'd make some. So I started putting together all the flavors I wanted with my shrimp shells and heads and water. OMG the flavor was so good!!! When you told the ingredients you used I couldn't believe you had my recipe, lol😂 I guess it's true great mind think alike!! I just found your channel and subscribed immediately! ❤❤❤❤
