Nice! Thanks! I have a question: do I need to use a child theme for this code, or can I use the code without a child theme and still have it intact even if I need to update the theme?

I found the additional code to also change the font color so this worked for everything except the mobile hamburger menu. It would be helpful if you did another tutorial with snippet code to completely swap Divi header on scroll & not just the background.

Hi! Thank you so much for this tutorial. I'm wondering if it is also possible to change the menu text color from white to black when scrolling as I would white text on the photo and also a white header when scrolling down. Would be really helpful if someone knows how to do this!!

Finally a solution that worked for me. Thank you so much! In my opinion it is also the best solution to solve layout shifts issues (cls) that keep popping up in connection with custom headers in Theme Builder. To prevent the default spacing for header section and row from being loaded first, I have also defined them in the global CSS. Keep it up! Liked and subscribed!

Love your vids thank you!! I wonder if you, or anyone else in the know here might give a little addition: when starting to scroll down, the menu (remaining fixed briefly, and changing background AND shrinking, like you show in your other superstar video) would then after maybe one second disappear, then when starting to scroll up again, the menu would handily appear again, anticipating navigational needs! In other words: Hide the menu on scroll down and show on scroll up (having shrunk and changed bg) :)

Thank you so much!! I've been really struggling with it until I've found your 2 great tutorials! Is it possible to make the scrolling menu a little bit smaller when scrolling down and add a little bit of dark shadow to the lower part of the menu? My scrolling background is white so i would really like to accentuate it.. I would really appreciate your help :-)!!

This doesn't seem to be working for me unfortunately. When i give the class to a row it works but not a section. Why is that?

omfg i love you so much. Thank you! I've been searching for a while now. Please have my babies.
EDIT: I really hate how Divi prevents you from adding custom CSS if you select an option in their menu like the background colour (they add !important after everything)....
