was hopefully optmistic about this game. saw many of the complaints on the website formally known as twitter, but was holding out until I heard what Jake Baldino had to say. cant wait to get this on sale in a couple months!

Thanks! This is definitely one of those games that looks amazing at first glance (knowing you can turn down UI elements) but is difficult to ascertain whether or not it is going to be boring and/or repetitive. Just another Anthem I guess...

Jake is trying REALLY hard to stay neutral and totally on the fence about saying any negative about this game.

It's the visual pollution, with the huge numbers and bright colors in my face ALL the time. That's a turn off for me.

Game honestly looks fun. Doesn’t seem to be any kind of goty contender but I definitely see myself picking it up on a sale.

Arkham series are always there to go back to so I don’t know why some chose to be hung up on the departure. I’m sure they’ll be more like it at some point in the future.

I feel like nowadays it’s best just to assume every game that comes out is gonna be ass, and then sometimes be pleasantly surprised. Not this time.. but maybe another time.

It's brutal how bad they made the boss fights.... especially the last one.

The game is great fun. I think theres alot of hate for no reason. Theres a trend just now of people just jumping on the same wagon as others, especially when they base it off reviews, pick up the game and play it first and see for yourself. I for one am enjoying it.

Interesting review. From what I can gather there's the guts of a fun and interesting story here with a business model where gameplay design should be. Very unfortunate, especially considering Rocksteady haven't put anything out in eight years.

To sum it up the best parts are 1: Genuinely great WW design, 2: King Shark, 3: It won't last long most likely, 4: King Shark, 5: We all agree it's not Canon

The problem is not what happens in this game, is the fact that they say it's a sequel to a beloved universe that we lived in for 4 amazing games. Somehow, it's more depressing, and way worse than what happened in the Injustice universe. I don't see the logic behind It except disapointing everyone that played and loved the Arkhamverse. This should be a stand alone story like Gotham Knights.

Forget the flashing colors, the constantly flashing numbers and letters is gonna give someone a new kind of seizure!

My biggest complaint so far is that I'm finding A LOT of cut scenes and mandatory waiting for dialogue which is killing the pacing.
