Honey, you do, you move differently in this world after losing your Mother. But, when BOTH parents are gone and you feel like an orphan, it's even worse!! Though my Dad and I didn't have the greatest relationship, it's different. My Mama was my very best friend and to lose her at age 59 was something, though with ALL she went through, we were blessed to have her as long as we did! She instilled the love & belief in God into my brother and me from a young age. I'm grateful and blessed that my brother and I have each other and can enjoy STILL the memories we share of them both! I could add so much to what you're saying here, but THANK YOU for sharing!!❤️ October 28th was 15 years that's Mama's been gone. Sometimes it seems like yesterday and other times it seems like much longer! It does get more tolerable as time goes on!🙏

Society finally "gave" permission for Bppl to b Black & Proud (I know many still aren't courageous enough yet), no longer feeling compelled to "code switch", straighten r hair, etc but i really wish we could go even further and speak freely without the PC ish when it comes to racial issues.
So often, Chance wants to speak but have to curtail himself bc he can't rush "mess" things up for his wife and subsequently family legacy. However, I'm glad of Chance progress bc i recall when he wasn't confident enough; not in himself but the politics of Hollywood and the that have to b played NOT to offend yppl‼️😏
That "making sure the bench looks like they wanted it to" comment spoke volumes how no longer code switching isn't enough; we must be totally liberated and I'm not suggesting being rude, insensitive or unkind but we shouldn't have to speak in code when calling out racism‼️
Btw, Mel truly needs to book/copyright, "Becoming Mel, Melly Mel"; she epitomizes the essence of being uniquely u and not being made to for in💪🏾✊🏾

I like her… sadly it’s the ones like her with the biggest personality that you have to keep an emotional pulse on. Their happiness is often times a trauma response that is hiding some kind of pain. Glad that Team Brown has her in their circle.

I miss the old wall and the old art - it was a warmer color. The placement of the frame, cuts up the background in the video and makes it less cohesive than before. I am NOT a hater. Your show, your life, your business. I just wanted to share what I see as a viewer. I do love and appreciate you guys and the content is what matters - I get it.
