Very nice and straight to the point, you saved me a lot of research. Great channel :)
ОтветитьIncredible video--thank you so much!
ОтветитьDo they stamp passport when you cross the border from Argentina to Chile to go to Torres Del Paine ? I have American passpot
ОтветитьWhat are the Pros and Cons of just renting a car?
ОтветитьMy compliments for a very informative video! I did the said area in 2019 - and can testify how well you made the video. I flew to Buenos Aires, then by long distnce bus via Puerto Mndryn to El Clafate and onwards to Ushaia -but since it was low season (winter), I could not sail from Puerto Natales to Puerto Mont (Chlie westcoast) - The webside had not been updated, so I found out "the hard way". But nayway, my roundtrip turned out to be come "a memory for life"! ;-)
ОтветитьWhat company did you use to book the tour for Perito Moreno?
ОтветитьHi Brittany , great videos! Thank you for all your information. We are a group of 3 planning to go there at the end of DEC 2023, wondering did you have to go back and forth for the hours journey everyday from el calafate / el chalten to each tourist attraction spot? thank you
ОтветитьDo you have anything to tell about renting a car in El Calafate to go to El Chalten? Thanks.
ОтветитьHey Brittany, your videos are amazing.. they so are full of great tips.
We are looking to go to Patagonia in May next year.. would the national parks be opened for the glacier and hiking in Fitz Roy mountains..
We would also like to do a day trip to Ushuaia? Is that possible?
Should we fly from Buenos Aires or Santiago?? We are looking to add Patagonia at the end of either one of these two cities..
Thank you so much for your very informative videos❤🙏🙏🙏
Hi! This was by far the BEST video I’ve seen for this! I am planning a trip to BA next month for a month and getting overwhelmed with all the things to do! I am planning to go to Patagonia for a week so I think your 7 day itinerary is perfect. I do have a question about the 4 day one. Does that one include Fitz Roy as well? And can you possibly make a video showing us what to pack?
ОтветитьThanks Brittany, this is such a helpful video! Quick question, would it be cheaper to land up and book stays / hostels in person, paying in cash, coz of the blue dollar? As compared to booking online and paying by credit card? I guess that way I would run the risk of not finding places to stay?
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьHi Brittany, how long in advance would you recommend booking accommodations?
ОтветитьHey Brittany, Really helpful video!! I have one remaining doubt since I have been looking for information withouth success.. is it possible to go directly from El Calafate to Torres del Paine national park without going through Puerto Natales (Chile)?? Also, where can I get hotel close to the entrance of the park before starting W or O hiking? Is there a main town?
Thanks, cheers!
I've noticed in a few videos of this area that travelers are going to Western Union to get their US cash. Are there no ATM's?
ОтветитьWhat month were you in Patagonia? I see you wearing cold weather gear by the glacier and when hiking in El Chalten.
ОтветитьThis is excellent content, in fact everything ive watched of yours on argentina and chile has been great! I was struggling to find much info on day hikes. Everything i was reading was basically saying to go on the multi day hikes or dont bother, so this has been extremely helpful. Just one quick question. What month were you in patagonia? looks like you got great weather!
ОтветитьHow do I get from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine Park? I'm confused that there is a bus and a shuttle to the park. Can you explain how this works taking two transportation methods to get there? Thank you so much for your help!
ОтветитьGreat video! I’m planning on heading down to Argentina from the States for ~10 days next spring. I suppose it’s a matter of personal preference, but how long would you recommend staying in Buenos Aires, or would you recommend just stopping over and going straight to Patagonia to optimize the time?
ОтветитьThis is amazing information, well presented too. Thank you!!
ОтветитьWhat was your budget when visiting Patagonia?
ОтветитьThank you so much for these tips and itineraries! How far in advance would you recommend booking hostels/hotels?
ОтветитьThank YOU Brittany !! - straight to the point video , going to Patagonia in February. What do you think about me going from El Calafate to Ushuaia after my 7 days in patagonia then come back to El Calafate then Buenos Aires and then flay to US ?
ОтветитьVery awesome video! Few equations if you don’t mind
- how did you get around? It sounds like you took a bus everywhere. Are buses easy? Flexible? Do you need to book these in advance? Do you think a Car rental would be better?
- for all the hikes you mentioned. Did you need to book tickets in advance to get in the park / hike? Or is it just pay once you get there and walk right in? I’m from Canada and some of popular parks / hikes have like limits in how many people can visit per day so you need to book in advances etc. so I was wondering if it might be the same here.
- did you do the hikes / glacier on your own or with a tour? Do you have to use tours? Or can we do it ourselves.
I was debating whether or not to go to El Chalten straight from the airport, thanks to your video I'm convinced this is the best use of my time. Thank you for your detail review, explanations and tips 😊
ОтветитьThank you for posting this!
ОтветитьHey, Brittany! Your Patagonia series is really helpful! I am planning on being in El Calafate on a solo trip in July to see El Chalten and mini trek Perito Moreno. I do have a few questions: a) Is it cheaper to book activities when I arrive in El Calafate or to book in advance? b) is it possible to do the Fitz Roy hike in July? Thank you so graciously for your videos and cannot wait to see the best of Patagonia with my own eyes!
ОтветитьHi Brittany. Thank you for the very succinct and informative video. I was wondering, for the hikes to Fitz Roy, do we need a guide for those? Are the trails pretty straight forward? Additionally where do I book my bus tickets from and to El Chalten from El Calafate? Thank you!
ОтветитьAre there any shorter, less strenuous hikes in Patagonia?
ОтветитьVery insightful video! Quick question: if you wanna get in the bus from the airport in El Calafate to go straight to the Perito Moreno Glacier, do you have to book online the bus trip? and do you have to book online the entrance to the perito moreno park? or are there tour companies in the airport? Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat video. Wife and I planning a trip but how can we obtain the El Chalten Map and Torres Del Paine Map?
ОтветитьReally awesome video!! Thanks..
