Imagine a nurse comes in saying “I’m just gonna get footprints”, takes the baby, and you’re waiting for footprints to be done. Then wondering why it’s taking so long. Then the real nurse comes in and your heart drops immediately. Then imagine the betrayal you feel and how stupid you feel to let some random woman come in and take your baby. You blame yourself every day and you cry and pray that that woman is not harming your child or doing something unimaginable to the child. For years you have issues with your next set of children going into doctors offices or going into hospitals. And you wake up one day with a message that your child has been found. For years you have been tortured mentally at this woman’s trickery, and that baby calls the fake nurse thief “mom” after all those years of torment and torture

The kidnapper lied to Kamiyah her whole life, for 18 years. How can anybody believe anything she says or does. The scheming and lying has to stop. The kidnapper has no rights to Kamiyah. I pray Kamiyah bio family is patient. Kamiyah has been lied to and been deceived for 18 years. It may take atleast that long for Kamiyah to accept reality and truth.

The problem is that the real mother wanted her daughter to forget about Gloria because she kidnapped her daughter, but that is impossible. Gloria raised her and loved her.

It is probably easier for her bond with her dad since she didn't have one before. She had a mom (the one who raised her) so it's harder to accept another one as being mom

I feel bad for the young girl it was very wrong that she was kidnapped but that young girl loves her she was the only mom she ever new But she will build a new relationship with her real mom and she will see they do things the same and act alike

If I was her bio mom, I'd be pissed too! If you raise a kid right from infantry, they automatically love you; but here she is trying to have a relationship with her adult daughter, and it's hard because she has to work hard to earn her love, because her daughter doesn't know her yet. If anyone us s victim, it's the bio mom also. I'm sorry the girl was kidnapped, but she's making it hard on her bio mom who has always just wanted her love, and now you're making her earn it, while still having a relationship with your abductor.

People saying "She will understand when she has her own child..etc" Just put yourself in Kamaya's shoes. Imagine YOUR own mom, the mom you grew up with, who loved and cared for you, then one day you hear that she kidnapped you, are you going to automatically switch off the love you have for her? No

A child owes nothing, not even love, to their parents. Her real mother would feel less frustrated and hurt if she could let go of her expectations and relinquish Alexis to God, fully. The more pressure she puts to have a mother daughter relationship the further away she will push her daughter. The woman who kidnapped her will pay for what she has done with more than 18 years in prison but that child owes no body nothing. Alexis is a human being, simply respect her humanity and accept whatever she can give at this moment. Anyone that's mad at this young woman for her reaction is a victim blamer. Not an ounce of any of this is her fault. She owes nobody nothing.

Kamiyah was Sooooooooo mf disrespectful, obviously raised with as a friend ... No boundaries, spoiled by this woman. Anyone would feel sympathy for their birth mother.

Kamiyah projects her anger towards Shanara because she’s in denial and she can’t accept the reality that her mom isn’t her mom. Shanara ruined her life because she made her aware of the truth and is too ugly to accept so she hates her for it.

I have just four words: Hood Rat and Rug Rat. The depiction of Kamiya Mobley in the Tubi movie is bullshit. And, it did not truly depict the gangster hood rat nature of this young woman which was on full display in the Iyanla Fix My Life episode. A true bonafide Hood Rat. I guess she is truly a product of her environment. This is what happens when innocent children are raised by no good for nothing lying cheating thieving criminals. I hope Gloria Williams rots to death in prison. Respect to the Mobley biological parents. I have walked in your shoes and can definitely relate to what you a going through.

I'm glad that the child came out of it as unharmed as can be given the circumstance. Even emotionally, she seems to still have such a positive outlook about everything and that is great. I prefer she keep that loving nature than to have hate in her heart.
And I saw someone made a comment that the biological mother had to lose her child twice because that motherly relationship that she may be trying to create with her daughter may not form as easily as she would expect. But if she really loves her she just have her best interest in mind and allow her to form a bond with her slowly and also also still keep that relationship with her kidnapper because if that is what is best for her emotionally. She grew up with that lady in the position of a mother, just ripping that away totally would be very difficult.

It’s sad that She was kidnapped but raised with a single mom. Because of that she’s open to making a bond with her biological dad but not the mom because she feels she already had a mom .

It’s not fair for Kamiyah or her mom. Kamiyah is a victim and Her mom is a victim. Kamiyah was emotionally manipulated from she was born to believe her kidnapper was her mother. Gloria should absolutely face every consequence. And for Kamiyah’s mom, my heart aches for her. She’s lost time with her baby for someone’s selfish actions. But still, y’all gotta understand, Kamiyah isn’t going to break that bond with Gloria, it’s the only woman she knew as mom for 18 years. It’s an emotional thing. It’s hard to grasp. 😢

I live in Jacksonville FL, I had my baby in this city, 8 years ago. It is absolutely terrifying to think this can even happen!! My heart goes out to that mother. Just wow I can't believe I never knew about this. Thank God she wasn't harmed by this psychotic woman. Unbelievable 😮

I feel maybe once this lovely young lady has embarked on her own journey to motherhood, whether she has birthed her own children or made a decision to adopt, only then will she truely begin to feel the true impact of this situation & start to question why this occurred to her.
I can only hope the honest truth is explained to her from her loved ones so she can fully have an understanding around the complexity of this because only then can she start to comprehend, heal & learn how to deal with her many emotions & thoughts running through her mind.

I don't have a hard time understanding why Kamiyah Mobley has no malice towards her "adoptive" mother because Gloria never treated her bad. She is a baby stealer. Yes!!! But she never harmed Kamiyah and she treated Kamiyah as her own. That is why the girl can't hate Gloria. However, I am not making any excuses for Gloria's crime which is kidnapping and I feel for the biological Mom. But How can Kamiyah feel hate for a woman she knew all her life as her MOM?
