Kids at that age don’t have the self-awareness or confidence to even really say no to an adult, especially in a public setting like that. I’m sure they were all taught to respect and obey adults so even if they didn’t like something they most likely wouldn’t say anything. On another note, even if a child were asking for a kiss, it would still be unacceptable for an adult to kiss a child on the mouth. It doesn’t really have anything to do with them saying “No”. The line has already been irrevocably crossed at that point.

The movie "Vacation Europe" really makes fun of those creepy tv hosts. There is sexual harrasment throughout the whole movie overall. Its not portrayed as "normal" or "acceptable" but as a constant. This type of dark humor is rare and non-existent as of 2023. The audience becomes a powerless compliance and thats the shocking effect.
