Casino is based on a true story. Apparently many casino towns look the other way to allow a network of bellman, etc. to spy on customers at these types of hotels. The hotel workers take note of people that store jewels etc and tip off thieves and other such people to rob the hotel customers. The people that RIP off the thieves get a cut.

But mu question was why would hotels ALLOW their employees to do this? Why would they retain people that were stealing from their customers?

Now we can see why. If someone wins big at a casino, the casino tries to claw back some money by staging a theft. They already have people in place to claw back the money. I'm betting that the hotel had an arrangement with the thief and some of the people that work there. Like the lady that entered his room.

The winner did not see the movie casino. If he did he would have left immediately after his big win and taken the money home to his bank.

Casinos exist to take peoples money.

There asking for information but we all know those of us who ever stayed in vegas at MGM like.dont they have like a million cameras???? Its a inside job.because how is a man who got shot able to walk down 17 flights of stairs and not get noticed?like Duhhhh???? PG County…drop a casino in where 80% of staff must be from PG. Inside job. It’s jammed and shady AF!! Been there once and it was OBVIOUS certain individuals were there scoping people out. They didn’t even pretend to be gambling. That’s a daytime, non weekend casino and ensure your own security. Def don’t hit those garages at nighttime. Make sure you’re not being followed. It's a nice casino. However, it's in a bad location. PG county is notorious for crime. I'll do my gambling at Hollywood Charles Town.
