Love it when these animations have a dope zoom out so i can quickly review the flow chart.
100% persuaded to use the techniques!
Ammar ?
ОтветитьDoes anybody know the particular scientific experiments that were conducted and where to find information on those experiments? Some of these figures sound like survey numbers, so if it is from a survey does anybody know the particular survey or where to find the information on those surveys? I suppose I am appealing to the authority aspect of persuasion as I would like to believe that because Dr. Cialdini is educated he has authority, but it would be nice to know where he obtained the information he is using.
ОтветитьScarcity - when we know life is near, then every minute, every action, is infinitely valuable.
One possible cause is comparison. We don't see things in a vacuum or absolutely for it is, but only comparatively.
Cold is only cold because we are warmer, but would feel warm if we were colder.
Most of us think 40 years is a long time away.
So what amount of time would seem short?
For me, around 20 years.
Interesting!
ОтветитьKey takeaway's
- Give a personalized and unexpected gift.
- Tell the experience of an individual to increase authority.
- Share a similar liking factor.
- Genuinely complement
All those 6 things are for morons -- those who have no principles of truth and are led by social conventions. Basically, unconscious sheeple.

Ответить10 years ago this was the keys to the kingdom. The future laid out in a simple video.
Ответить❤ nice video
ОтветитьI don't know why but thanks
Ответитьok.
ОтветитьDone watching
Ответитьshady
Ответитьfunny how when talking about consistency the narrator changes
ОтветитьWow wow thank you so much for all this information
ОтветитьIts an abslout nightmare watching this, understanding the width of its impact on sociaty and the people within it. This is a handbook on how, through the work and knowledge of science, to efficiently exploit human deficiencies to maximize proffit. To know that this man is a prominent researcher within the socialpsychology community, gives me chilles though every fiber in my body. To see the comment section not overflowed with negative response, is somehow worse.
The incredible accomplishment to be able to study of our own kind and our capabilities, the science of understanding how and why we do the things that we do, have come down to this. And no one really seems to be bothered.
Standing on the shoulder of giants to make people buy more, and if they didnt want it, you can convince them they do.
This isnt science. This is sophisticated capitalism. the always profit chasing capitalism.
Why do I feel like a lot of the comments here have been written by an AI text generator?
ОтветитьEmotional value to the repriocity
ОтветитьAnd here I'm because of my faculty. 😑
Ответитьawesome video
ОтветитьThe reason so many people were persuaded to not use those towels is because it was framed to make it sound gross.
Ответить75% of viewers enjoyed the irony of the video stating how point 4. Consistency is important, and then spelling it Consistancy within the same video
ОтветитьIt's manipulation and is not ethical.
ОтветитьLiking = good loking !
Ответить5. Liking is building rapport with people. People buy from people they trust.
Ответитьlolololol

Hallo jungs :)
ОтветитьThe problem with this, is that it fails to recognise the consequences of pandering and being disingenuous. Its hit and run tatics that are toxic to any long term relationship and society as a whole.
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьThe science of persuasion is not an innate quality. This skill is acquired constantly throughout life! It should be mutually beneficial.
ОтветитьThis video just made my day
ОтветитьWell done.
ОтветитьInformative 🔥
Ответитьwhat's up with all the bots in the comment section? let's break the rhythm a bit: cock and balls. (interesting video though)
ОтветитьIt's weird that you said "ethical" at the beginning and then provided some pretty unethical practices as evidence of ethical persuasion. If the heart of ethics is fairness and it is unfair to use psychological tricks on people to get more money out of them, then your example of how to manipulate others through reciprocity is unethical. It's unethical because it's unfair because the person giving their money doesn't understand why they're giving their money. These sort of "nudges" are not to be championed.
False scarcity is literally unethical.
Agreeing with someone because they are an authority figure is not persuasion. It's just literally not.
You're just presenting unethical manipulative used car salesman manipulation tactics and trying to pawn them off as persuasion.
I saw consensus heavily at work during the heights of Covid, trying to push everyone to get the jab.
ОтветитьI don't know, maybe my head is missing a few marbles, but when I see the reuse towel sign in hotels I think greedy scam and less likely to do it. I think, oh its a way for the hotel to save money on detergent and housekeeping staff while still pocketing the same rate for the room, increasing their margins. It's not like the money goes to reducing room rates or paying housekeepers a higher wage. (BTW I tend to naturally reuse towels all the time without a card, for those who would scream that I hate the environment)
ОтветитьLove it! Wonderful information!
Ответитьi HATE THOSE HOTEL SIGNS> i might even waste more towels on purpose.. i pay way too much money to stay at these sites
Ответитьim here because of my gf, shout out sayo
ОтветитьThis bullshit only works on people who don't think for themselves. If a hotel told me to reuse my towels because 75% of visitors do so. I would simply reply, I'm not the 75%, give me a fucking clean towel and wash this dirty one. I paid for service.
ОтветитьNice information
ОтветитьThanks for sharing these principles! Guess a thin line between using these ethically and manipulation, but probably a choice
ОтветитьAny budy here whose knows Hindi language
ОтветитьGreat👍
ОтветитьThe D.E.N.N.I.S. system is a great system to follow too. Y'all should check it out
