How can this be a capital city? - 5 star hotel the Arrecife Grand in Lanzarote

Stayed all over Lanzarote, arrecife is nice but the beach is a real shame , under the water real dangerous rocks etc not smooth sand like Los pocilous Puerto del Carmen brilliant beaches there

When this hotel was first built I was told it caught fire a d the fire equipment did not reach the upper floors it was allowed to burn out. It was a shell for years and has since been refurbished.

We always stay in The Lancelot hotel in Arrecife when visiting Lanzarote. Very convenient for touring around the island.

The building regulations on Lanzarote are one of the reasons why I love the island so much. Resorts that consist of a high rise, concrete jungle are a real put off for me. Still haven’t visited this hotel in all the times I’ve been to Lanza, will definitely make a point of going on my next visit👍
