I love the fact that Ron Perlman actually love playing Hellboy. He really invested in it, not just because it's a 'job' like lots of actors. Hearing how he pushed for the 3rd movie because he wanted to close the trilogy and how he loved Guillermo's style and ideas really made me see him and his Hellboy movies in a different light.

He did four Hellboy movies :) The animated ones were great.

The first two movies are 1000)% the best movies - Like Harrison Ford is Indiana Jones, Ron Perlman is Hellboy, Robert Downy Jr is Iron man like.....These actors are what makes the movies!! And We will never get anotherRon Perlman as Hellboy movie and I'm so sad about that....:(

He should have taken it to a different director, knowing what the concept of the movie was supposed to be. I watch that third movie all the time in my head, and it would have been my favorite out of the three. It hurts me too, believe it or not. That open wound he mentioned, he makes it sound like it was more than just a job. So that empty space where a third film is supposed to be, it's just getting bigger all the time
