I lost my boyfriend unexpectedly in 2021 and this entire interview is gold. I have lost count of how many times I have listened to it. It helps me so much to understand my grief and how it affects everyone.

A lot of what she says about dealing with grief spiritually, her obsession with understanding death find answers in Islam. This was an amazing conversation

The death out loved ones gets worse with time, that wound time can’t heal. In Portuguese we have a word for it “saudades” in EN is like “missing someone” but even more sentimental. So yes it hurts when they die but it gets worse with time because you feel “saudades” everyday. I learnt that when my grandmother died and I see how my mom feels about it.

Communication is the main issue

You can talk all of that spiritual crap if you want, but when it's time to separate, after she let some other dude smash, she's going to play the same dirty games and have you assed out. I lost the love of my life two weeks ago, two days before my birthday and I agree with her infinite %, I’ve experienced real PURE love already on earth with Ar’Landers and I’m genuinely not going to be with anyone else. death, grief, will put you in a dark space whether you want to be in it or not. and if there are children that still need the parent to parent them, grief is even more overwhelming bc you're trying to process the loss and yet still be life to your children. God bless LL for weathering her loss and still be able to step to the other side as intact as one can be.

I wish her well and to truly be free. I feel she gets so much judgment for dare trying to move on from certain communities she has shut down.

It’s a contradiction. Shes saying she was in ego (basically she feels she should have let nipsey be free and not possess him.. just appreciate the experience) yet after his death shes ‘good’ off experiencing love or connecting with another herself… so shes not truly free… shes not open and that goes against her own theory. If we should posess ppl then she shouldn’t let his death stop her from being open.

She’s definitely not lying they go on with their lives (which is definitely understandable) and talk about you, etc. I’ve watch this in it’s entirety but I was about to wear sweats to my brother’s funeral! I was over the planning, etc. It was so unexpected that I did not pack clothes. I actually wore my brother clothes while I was running around planning. Less than 24 hours I found something to wear but I was not worried about what to wear I just wanted everything over ASAP!!
