Wished you would bring up Spec Ops: The Line(Silent Hill Dubai/Silent Dunes) even though this game dealt with more external problems like war crimes/American Army involvement + CIA/The shooter market(at that time of release) idolizing action and fun instead of what’s going on. Characters like Captain Walker truly fits the mold of ‘Silent Hill’ with his descent(both mental and physical) into madness, PTSD, hallucinations and purposeful negligence.

Lake Haven is definitely Twin Peaks inspired. There was a shot that looked like the Black Lodge and saving by drinking a cup of coffee, very Lynchian.

I know the footage shown is from the demo-era, but the full release of Crow Country is mind-blowingly good

Holstin reminds me more of Darkwood than Silent hill to be honest. It looks awesome

I bought "Tormented Souls", it was a lot of fun, a faithful homage to PS2 horror. Caroline's voice acting was rather over-the-top, and I wonder if that was intentional? I look forward to the sequel.
Regarding "Barbotine", from what you showed of the game, it seems that the protagonist is attending his own wake, in denial that he is dead; then afterwards, there is nothing but decay; and finally, the creatures he battles, made of marble with flowers for heads, are like tombstones at a graveyard.

Thanks for making this video. Amazing work.

Wish I could enjoy cry of fear. But from experience with it I have to fight with technical issues from crashing and texture issue (from experience on the inventory the description would cycle trough texture, i remember it would disappear the m4 texture instead of the hud.) then to be scared of the game alone. It was a frustrating experience. I believe Vinny vinesauce delt the same issue but don't quote me on that.
