Krauss has a narrow mind ( ie ET life) for a physicist.

Even if you were to only look at declassified pentagon/CIA documents, UAP/UFO are definitely real and have been since the 40’s. The amount of evidence is unreal. All the books written by legitimate and credible people of all kinds. We are way beyond the question of are they’re real, what are they doing and what do they want.

I would seriously doubt that intelligent life capable of space travel would be as violent as we are. In fact, we will not live as a species long enough to find intelligent life because we are going to wipe ourselves out long before we can get to that stage of evolution. We have to learn to expand to other planets or we will cease to exist, we certainly aren't' going to save this planet, there aren't enough people that want to save it, and then we elect idiots like Rump to run us into the ground for greed.

If one followed Krauss, people would never have built boats and explored the world (it was a deadly venture at the time). We need to go to the Moon and Mars not because it is easy but because it is hard ( a tilt to JFK). Human curiosity demands that we endeavour to persevere.

Amazing! How narcissism wants to become interplanetary, interstellar & even intergalactic before disintegrating itself on earth first. This audacity is formidable. A true insult to stupidity is what obviously awaits. Instead, building outposts or mega space stations nearby the planets but not inside, is the way to go. How? Sending robots that can build things by following instructions from our best architects & engineers from here. To use as an example the way the Lego blocks toys attach to each other to create bigger structures will b the most practical approach. But if this is no going to lead to universal abundance, this will b the most massive waste of energy in existence.

Due to the distances of travel, even if intelligent life exists somewhere else, it would be highly unlikely for us to know of it, or for hem to know of us.
