Korea's Ultimate Hangover Cure

None in Los Angeles can do that cow blood cake soft and tangly like they do in Korea. This is definitely one of the few dishes that can't be replicated yet in US.

I love the simplicity of this recipe. Most of Hangover Soup recipes that I found have so many ingredients in the broth and the soup. Here are only beef bone, brisket, and tripe (captiin said intestine but he picture in the video was actually tripe). The seasoning also simple; bean paste, mince garlic, and mince ginger. I tried this recipe so many times but use beef stock instead of boiling beef bone for 24 hours. It came out great. It's so simple and tasty.

As a korean person I can confirm is it what my parents eat after a family party with soju or beer😊

Idk about anyone else but I’d totally eat that. It’s healthy and it uses lots of animal parts that in many other cultures go to waste plus they know what they’re doing, it wouldn’t be sold if it wasn’t good. Plus it’s a good way to learn and experience more about a different culture!

It saddens me but, i think i understand & can answer you in an asian way (as i am asian) as i view it to the western culture :)

I find it funny that people say its weird & 'disgusting' to eat blood or other weird asian cuisine that westens never eat.
I think its funny & never saw it as anything beside hilarious, tho at certain degree it also makes me wonder.

I grew up not as a fully fledged east side asian (like japan, china, korean, etc), i grew up as a southern east one so we already have different cultural values since we were already influenced by other cultures like the middle east.

But most asian has many things in common to one another.
It is that we respect food to its very core & that everything is good & great to be eaten. And we develope ways to eat them so they'll be waste in a minimum.

I think the big primarally thing that differenced us asians & non asians are played by big parts of our culture :)
I learned when i was 15 (i heard from someone), that the old testemants of the bible did forbid people to eat/drink blood.
Tho it wasnt mentioned again in the new testemants.
(no means to offend any religion, i am also christian)

I think since majority of western people are christian... the bible played a big part to their everyday lives.
In which we asians dun have that kind of saying & most of through out asian are not christian, especially back in the days.

I conclude that each culture cannot blame one another coz back in the days, there were so many differenes in the cluture setting & no one is to blame.
Its just different from yours & mine coz it never collided in the past.
All we can do is respect it.

So pls refrain to think other cultures as weird just because its different from yours :)
