How much money did you pay to promote your music to get it to reach 1mill?
ОтветитьWell, as of today 06/21/23 according to the Spotify calculator 1M = $2,380.00 net only. No discounts.
ОтветитьWell it's great help you gave out here but I gat my song a while but I need to be known to increase my plays
Thank You
So once you get to 1 million monthly users is it paid monthly?
Ответить🤦🏽♂
ОтветитьI made less than $2500 off 1 million streams on Spotify through UnitedMasters after paying to get 100% of my royalties. Either UnitedMasters is ripping me off or theres valuables that made my payout significantly less. Either way i feel underpaid.
ОтветитьIf you can get 1mill streams on a single 💿 the algorithm will boost your music to more people and it will help and grow NO it's not fair what there doing but trust me as an independent artist if you repeat the process in 1-2 years you can make 4,000 every 2 months
ОтветитьYou should get around $3000
ОтветитьThanks for the info! Subscribed!
ОтветитьHelp me share my music
ОтветитьThank you this helped me a lot!
ОтветитьIt would be awesome if they could at least pay 10.000$ for 1.000.000 streams..but $4000 for 1mili is veery low if you ask me..and not everyone can hit that number. For 100.000 streams, you get $200-230 + mechanical royalties
ОтветитьWaiting for Casper to make a video on Playlist Push, Omari, Orion Promotion, MySphera or one those services to see if their legitimate or not 😴
ОтветитьI have a Spotify account for sale it has 1,200 followers
ОтветитьSo is that USD?
ОтветитьAfter all this time 😐 , thanks man ❤️, everybody else be like "Spotify doesn't pay". I think it's just something they lie about to discourage the upcomings💔.
ОтветитьFollow me on Spotify at JalontE Kinney - playlist GRIND TIME!
ОтветитьI really need to know how long does it take for them to send you the 4000
Ответить$414. a month wouldn't pay my lunch bill, and you're seriously calling that fair?!
Ответитьthank you for this man!
Ответитьit almost makes you feel whats the point for all the hard work
ОтветитьThanks man! Just started getting tens of thousands of streams that aren't reported yet, was just curious what it'd pay out in the end. Gonna drop another album and keep on grinding!
ОтветитьI'm glad that people are paying for music.
i think this technology allows artists a much broader platform for your music. you basically have a global audience at your fingertips.
if you were an aspiring musician in the 80s or 90s the barriers for entry were a lot greater. the main difficulty now is there is a lot of competition for this global audience
Thanks for the info! Just released a new album on Spotify called Heaven Sent. I've got 142,000 streams so far, so I'm gunna keep at it and try to hit that million!!
ОтветитьMore gigs more money!
ОтветитьHello, interesting information. I have songs up on Spotify since 2019. I didn't pay much attention to it, but recently I decided to monitor my streams more closely through OneRPM and came to notice I have almost 2 million streams summing up all the platforms since I uploaded my music - 1.6M being on a particular song. Now, I don't understand why my revenue is of like 30 dollars. Am I reading something wrong? Is there an explanation to this?
ОтветитьI'm very happy for you brother!
ОтветитьHow did you advertise your music?
ОтветитьHey at least ur making money, unlike Spotify lmao
ОтветитьIt's not that Spotify pays bad, it pays well ... the deal is this Cdbaby that sucks on top of artists, they get paid to launch, they don't pay and they don't do marketing and they earn on top of what you sell because they don't sell anything and they earn anyway, in addition to not making the correct and up-to-date transfers to the artists, and provide a punctual report of statistics and profitability in addition to making a beautiful shit of distribution mixing songs from other artists with another different artist, too disorganized in the account, a real shit this Cdbaby !!!
ОтветитьHow do you collect mechanicals?
ОтветитьIs that per song? Or I guess you’re talking collectively regardless of how many songs you have. Do they care about how long someone stays to listens to a song/music?
ОтветитьThis seems really fair. When I get my credit card I'm hoping to find a distributor (is that what they're called?) And post my music
ОтветитьAt how many streams does Spotify start paying?
ОтветитьI don't believe you. You should have shown the proof.
ОтветитьThat is not a deal u mite as well sell your on songs on your own page...they cheating people out the money..
ОтветитьSo it takes 10 months to get 1m streams which equals about $3600? Wow seems like a great plan to earn a living.
ОтветитьCasper, you also play a lot of fingersyle arrangements of popular songs, How does that work with Spotify, Do you have to pay royalties to the authors of the original songs?? Thanks!
ОтветитьSeems like a fair platform which puts the ball in the musician's court
ОтветитьThat is SOOO much money. I mean, if someone has 70,000,000 million streams on just one song, they would make around $300,000!
ОтветитьDo you pay tax? I'm not really gud at these sort of things does income from spotify count as taxable income
ОтветитьCommenting for the algorithm...this video is just perfect
Ответитьwich one u use cd baby or cd baby pro?
ОтветитьStraight to the point👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьThank you so much for getting to the point. Seems every video on this topic is 30 minutes of wah wah boo hoo my life as a musician is so hard to get to the friggin dollar amount they made. And congrats on hitting a million views. That ain't easy in this megasaturated market.
Ответитьyou make 1 million streams sound like just an average thing for an independent artist trying to survive
ОтветитьDoes spotify count free user plays too? For stream incomes?? Plz reply
ОтветитьHe has over 4000 spotify followers
