The resolution of the Ripple Labs lawsuit in terms of Remedies could clear the way for US Banks and FinTech's to embrace Ripple Labs solutions. The Real USD to be issued by Ripple Labs, which will be 100% compliant with US Stablecoin regulations is the Keystone imo. The Fed must have buyers and Circle and Ripple both could soak up Trillions of USD just when others are dumping or selling. XRP is the Protocol layer for Ripples Real USD and will benefit immensely when that does happen from the Network effect

Very smart and factual research and very plausible Jake fantastic analysis as always. I think XRPs' future liquidity that will be required to settle those trades/transactions at scale will come from ETFs & tokenization of RWAs on XRPL sucking out the circulating supply driving a continual higher and higher price. SBI start the domino with regards to transactions CBSCs, Archax with tokenization and it snowballs down and endless money hill becoming more and more valuable. Apparently there is only 1.7 Bil XRP left on exchanges worldwide setting things up for a supply shock in the short term. Regulations in the form of Basel III and this will unlock the institutional investment that we havent even come close to seeing as of yet. XRP becomes the most valuable financial asset in the future and Ripple becomes a global economic powerhouse. Exciting times ahead

so if XRP spikes and I want to take some profits, should I convert the XRP to RLUSD or USDC?

ethereum is a security.. it needs a smart contract to make it 'gas'.. the gas function was what deems it useful.
so on its own, its a security no? central authority had ICO, the roadmap keeps changing, i could go on

Since the rest of the crypto market seems to follow BTC. If tether dumps, leading to BTC dump, wouldn’t the rest of the market follow; including XRP?

I came for XRP and all I hear about is Tether, tether is dead. Even USDC is better. Not to mention ripple will lunch there Stable coin soon. XRP will and is being adopted by banks and world governments.

XRP is centrally controlled by the Ripple Foundation, just like fiat currency is owned by privately-owned central banks. Are you trying to be naive, or do you just not care who controls a monetary system? If it's the latter, then you don’t understand the root issue affecting economies around the world.

Hi Jake i see the btc purchases by big business are often done OTC. We don't neccessarily see the price reflected from that market? I am asking b/c i don't understand that relationship with retail prices.

How can there be a XRP LIQUIDITY SHORTAGE WHEN RIPPLES CUSTOMERS USE RIPPLES SUPPLY and RIPPLE CAN DUMP 1 BILLION TOKENS A MONTH IF DEMAND COULD HANDLE IT AND RIPPLE WOULD.... RIPPLE HAS DUMPED OVER 3 BILLION XRP ON THE MARKET SINCE THE SEC ANNOUNCEMENT 1 YEAR AGO.....XRP WORSE TOKENOMICS IN CRYPTO
