I feel like you can use grappler as choose fight in a way too like tap very slowly until they start to almost win then start to spam so you start to win then let them think they gonna win again and so on just stall with grappler, Risky but can buy time if timed perfectly.

dam it never actually occurred to me that leland is the ONLY victim that can get grappler. kinda crazy tbh. it was a mistake to remove it off ana imo, removing no cell off her was fine, grappler was overkill.

I love Grapple mechanic, but the so called "Grapple Mania" issue needs to be fixed somehow - but it's satisfying to watch and to do it, idc about dying or losing as family member

I like this change for Leland. Encourages people to use Leland as the main grappler if they think of distracting and saving teammates before the match starts.

They have no idea what they're doing when it comes to balancing this game. It's comical to watch them try. Grapples were OP and ruining everything with choose fight? Well how about with buff suffocating grip and make it level 1 so that grapples are useless afterward. So grapples go from being incredible and OP and unlose-able, but as soon as Grandpa gets 1 level they become nearly impossible to win without grappler + good health.
So the way they balanced something was by leaving it OP, then making it next to useless in the first minute or two of the match. That's really not how you balance something, also button mashing to get a kill or escape is so crazy of a mechanic like who thought this was a good idea lmao

ngl i played b4 during and as both sides during the "fighting meta" and like with ever shift i just see family as fragile ego baby bitches, and vics as abusive fucking shits...
yall were absolute babies during that time i got more 4k bc i knew how to play.
now bc of baby bitching grappling is almost as lethal to even consider like it was still one hit death
but also they just keep making stats worth nothing...like i do not put points into toughness bc its a matter of gaining a max of 40 hp...uselss...strength is only the starting point of a fight so thats almost useless if not for gen, so just having grappler and 0 strength kinda means you match soffocating grip and it makes it quite impossible to lose unless you are rly rly bad

I like playing my Leland with 50 Strength and 50 Proficiency. Good options if my teammates get killed earlier than expected.

You made me finally start playing Leland and oh my god. It feels great guiding my newer friends to help them escape and being able to protect them as Leland or just distract family members so they can get used to the map or open a door or two

Grappler is good and gives you a chance to win at least against suffocating grip.
It doesn’t help against people using hacks. I’ve had full HP, full 50 strength, and the rest of my points into toughness and lost a grapple in half a second against a Sissy 25 seconds into the match with grandpa still at level 0. That doesn’t happen unless they are 100% hacking.
