I just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking of putting the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying it's ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.

Selling a premium also has a chance of you going homeless.. if you are wrong then you pay the price of every share.. instead of just buying $100 contracts for a few hundred 😂

dumb question but I'm still learning... If the money is put into my account upon selling a put option, what's stopping me from closing out the next hour or day if the price doesn't move? Do I get to keep that premium?

Just to break it down this is not the best start or the safest way to make gains 😅….just using the amc example bro got paid 200 dollars and had to have 3k😮 just to make that trade let’s say amc crashed all the way to $10 😮😅 my boi here is now stuck with a hundred shares of amc at a average cost of $31 and the stock is now $10 so basically down 2,100 or minus 70% of collateral……..also u wouldn’t be able to sell you shares using the covered call option because ur gonna lose net if u sell anything below a $31 strike price wich I’m sure those options are worthless and will be for a looonnngggg time……….there’s no secret to winning and the % on the contrac

I sell a call option... I want the stock price to go down (buyer wants stock price to go up). But... I have to own 100 shares, to sell one contract? So I have to buy hundreds of shares of a stock i hope goes down?? How does the contract premium outweigh the losses of the hundred shares you're holding?
You conveniently brush over this, by saying you "don't own 100 shares, so you're going to sell puts".
So... You can only make money if the market is bullish, basically??
