I work with at least two guys who were huge antivacs, covid conspiracy believers. Told everyone getting the vaccine is getting the mark of the beast so on so fourth. I am not lying both dudes nearly died from getting covid19. One dude came out with reality smacking him in the face, the other dude was like I just forgot to take my vitamins thats all. It was insane how much denial the one guy was in. Ive never seen someone so stubborn or just blatantly ignorant to reality. Truly it amazed me.

This whole Q anon thing is culty for sure. I came into this video having no idea what it really was, and at the beginning I have to say that I disagree with Asmon about the banning situation. He is someone who has said that “dumb people shouldn’t get banned for saying dumb because it’s better to be able to see for yourself who the dumb people are” and then he is agreeing that these conspiracy theorists should be banned and deplatformed. And it’s just odd to me that he would say this, and whether you agree with them or not isn’t the issue, it’s whether they should be banned or not. there is something genuine to the question of social media companies banning certain people for saying certain things to suppress political opinions those social media companies disagree with. I mean that’s coming from the Supreme Court so that’s not just a crazy baseless accusation made by someone mentally ill. I also disagree with writing off someone’s opinion based on the fact that their wife is in the hospital. It’s like saying “you’re old and stressed out so your opinion is invalid” and that’s just not fair. Watching more of the video I see how crazy these people really are, however I don’t think there is anything wrong with questioning people who are in power and holding them accountable and wanting transparency from them. You don’t even need a conspiracy theory to know that the government is corrupt; it’s called “lobbying” and it’s done in the light of day and nobody ever questions how horrible the practice is. It’s literally legal bribing. So my point so just that I think asmon is being slightly closed minded and contradicts his own beliefs in calling these people out, no matter how crazy and ignorant they are
