How High to Mount a TV

Mine is a meter of the ground it's fine.
TVs in bars, hotels ect are much higher and there fine . Go with how high you want doesn't have to be eye level center . I had to move mine at eye level center it looked too low down.

When picking my TV's height off the floor I realized that the recommended "eye level" suggestions from the internet made the view from the kitchen of the bottom of the screen blocked by the "eye level" heads of people sitting on the couch. I stuck an above average height person on the couch, went into the kitchen and sighted just above thier head to the wall where the TV was going to mount, and that's how I picked the bottom of my screen. Moral of the story is to consider all possible viewing locations before installing blocking and/or drilling holes.

For the love of God don't mount your tv above your fireplace.

In case there is stuff below your tv like a fireplace you move it up?? No, of course not. Fist you try to remove the stuff, so you can install your tv at the right height, for optimum comfort.

If your going to mount it that low why bother mounting it just leave it on the tv unit, 55-60 inch from floor to centre of tv is more ideal

Shitty Height finder tool you’ve got !

So I tried to use the height finder tool. Entered all the info. But funny enough, the model of wall mount I bought from Costco isn't listed at all. Not one of their model numbers even comes close. So I guess I'm back to guessing how high to put it.
