What ever happened to coffee, iced tea or cokes? Does everyone keep wine or beer or liquor in the house. Why is it when someone asks whenever anyone comes in and they are asked if they want a drink it’s always assumed that it’s one of those things. I think that it’s a sad commentary on the way our society is becoming. 🥺🥺🥺🥺

During the depression my mother was a young widow with two boys, one 8 one 6 and a 3 year old daughter. The she worked at a laundry for 8 hours a day and then took in laundry in the evening for 20 cents apiece. The grocery store owner let her buy groceries on credit. A real treat was when she came home with a banana for each child or a loaf of sliced bread. When she was able she went back and paid the grocer every penny that she owed him. The boy’s shoes had worn completely out and one day it had snowed and they had to walk to school in the snow. The teacher told them to wait after school and they were afraid that they had done something wrong. Instead, she took them to a department store and bought them each a pair of new shoes. My brother who was 13 or 14 years older than I was told me that story many years later. My 2 brothers and my sister who was 10 years older than me, have been dead many years ago. They were my half siblings. I’m 79 years old now. But it was wonderful during those hard times when people seemed so willing to help as much as they were able to do what they could for others who weren’t so fortunate.

The first time I heard that clown joke I laughed so hard I nearly kicked the slats out of my cradle. 🙄🙄😑😑

Once I saw an episode on The Twilight Zone where a man’s wife was in a wheelchair 🦽 and she nagged him constantly so he decided to murder her. He pushed her in her wheelchair down a steep cliff. Unfortunately it didn’t kill her so he wound up in worse shape than he had been before. She had to have constant complete care. She was incontinent, paralyzed and couldn’t feed herself,etc. 😬😬😬😬🥹🥹🥹🥹😂😂😂😂

This is one of the BEST movies I have ever seen. So beautiful, yet so sad. LOVE, FORGIVENESS, FRIENDSHIP, COMPANIONSHIP, EMPATHY, UNDERSTANDING, ALL ROLLED UP INTO ONE.❤❤❤😢😢😢.

I love this movie and watch it every thanksgiving season..but the one thing that makes me cringe is the way the husband character kisses Judith Light...kinda like he's slipping her the tongue 😂
