I live in the US, and this is a number you would never see on dwts, not everyone will understand how important it is that scd will do this, they're not scared to show that being different is good, compared to dwts

They filmed this in Blackpool Tower Ballroom. I did a takeover with Girl Guiding there in 2018. We got to watch them film strictly but they never told us which episode we were in 😢

Kai and Jo are really good friends so this was super special to see 😢

I am so glad they finally have same sex dancing. It all looks amazing! Maybe now they have accepted this part of the real world, can they now start accepting that some women might prefer dressing like the blokes and have some dressing like the men, regardless of whether they are dancing with a man or another woman? As a masculine woman, I’d love to se this.

I am British-Carribbean & gay. Growing up I never expected to see a same-sex inter-ethnic dance. We really have come so far. Wonderful, tuank you all.

I love the smile on Johanas and Kai's faces when they start dancing. Its beautiful and sometimes smiles can seem false but both of theirs are genuine

Flaunting his homosexuality at every opportunity! I just want to see great dancers and be entertained, not try to have my mind filled with propaganda.

Personally I see nothing wrong with having a same sex partner at the end of the day all of these pros are teacher's and should be able to teach both male and female like a school teacher

This dance blew my mind and Johanne gave us so much more with his partner. Pirates of the Caribbean was superb they should have won.

I know she'd long gone by now, but I give SO much thanks to Nicola Adams every time I watch this.

Her choice to ask for a same-sex coupling didn't just open the floodgates, it broke them. And I LOVE how we get to watch same-sex dances like this every year now, just as a part of the course. I don't think there's been a year without a same-sex coupling since her and Katya either. And now other dance shows are following suit. I just love it, and I wish I'd grown up seeing this level of representation.
