Russell is a legend!😂
ОтветитьRussell just keeps winning. One of the GOATS for sure.🏆🏆🏆
ОтветитьMy ego hurts a little though lol 😂😂
He's too quick witted!
Nice shout out to Ron Nelson. Love that Russel!
ОтветитьOmg the best one by far
ОтветитьRussell is a once in a lifetime, He just gets it. There is a reason why the older Comedians respect Russell. I think the younger generation of comedians are too afraid to work with Russell but also because like he said, they're doing fine without his help.
ОтветитьAs a Chicagoan I was baffled and thrilled when he mentioned house music🎉
ОтветитьRussell been in the game since the 80s. His crowd worth is legendary
ОтветитьI feel like Maestro Fresh Wes should have been talked about more. Yes he and Kane have similar tones and cadence but Wes still has the biggest selling Canadian hiphop record with let your back bone slide. He’s an actor , tv show host , a best selling author and most importantly he’s the Godfather of Canadian hiphop but overall one of the greatest emsees of all time. It would be dope if Big Boy did some research on him and interviewed him on his platform.
ОтветитьI’d love to hear the unedited version of this interview
ОтветитьWhat song are they referring to wicka rap “hotter than a Calcutta summer”?
ОтветитьDamn, for a hot second I got hyped when Big Boy asked Russell the last time he been to the DMV: I thought he was talking about D.C./MD/VA!
ОтветитьBig up Ron Nelson for bringing Hip Hop to Toronto.
ОтветитьThat Big Pun joke killed me 😂
ОтветитьOnly 15 comments for this guy you got to be kidding me
ОтветитьRussell is underrated af. Legend
ОтветитьAlways complaining about money Russell lol
ОтветитьGoddamn bigboy let the man speak!
ОтветитьSaw him in Australia a couple of months ago, funny af man
ОтветитьWhat happen to his podcast.....didnt anyone wanna go on it?
ОтветитьThe Anglo Indian.
ОтветитьBig boy doesn't ket the joke ride.

ОтветитьI dont have kids so I can keep playing hardcore hiphop XD
ОтветитьDon’t sleep on Russell Peters. Dude is a living legend
ОтветитьI can honestly listen to stories about the love for old school hip hop all day
Ответитьsouth east asian stand up comedy scene couldnt be happened if not because of russel.
Ответитьmvp!!!
ОтветитьI grew up in Canada the same time as Russell and I didn't hear or get influenced by any of the people he is talking about. The great ethnic divide is and was still present. I knew disco, I heard of house, EDM was a discovery 20 years later. Hip Hop never made main stream radio/tv/ performers in Montreal.Mostly I f there was a hip hop show the riot police were called and no big venue would have anything to do with it right up till the 2000's. and much later I believe.
ОтветитьLegend!
ОтветитьLegend
ОтветитьI wonder if this entire interview was really an A.I. interview. And instead Russell was home break dancing to the theme of the Golden Girls.
ОтветитьRussell did not finish saying who his top Rappers are. So, I will name mine. 1. Biggie. 2. Jay Z. 3. Nas. 4. Eminem. 5. Pac. 6. Rakim. 7. Andre 3000. 8. Most Def. 9. KRS-1. 10. Busta Rhymes.
ОтветитьRussel u are a badass!!!
Ответитьbut the original song sampled for doing it was my Jamaican guy by Grace Jones
ОтветитьI met him at a Canelo fight. Super cool guy 🥊🥊🥊
Ответитьglad he shouted out Ron Nelson's influence on bringing alot of early hip hop to Toronto. Big up, Ron Nelson Fantastic Voyage CKLN!
