If you ask 9 out of 10 of these amazing guitarists who the best ever is, they will all say Nancy Wilson. Nancy would say Sister Rosette.

This list is informative. I don't know too many female guitarists. My knowledge is limited to Lita Ford and Nancy Wilson.

Glad to see Bonnie Raitt and Mother Mabelle on the list - but you forgot a bunch. Deanna Bogart, Debbie Davies, Ally Venable, Ana Popovic, and Susan Tedeschi. Maybe an updated - and expanded - list is needed?

Great selection for number 1, as there are no other's like Lita Ford she can play a guitar and make circles around the rest of them.. and I have heard allot of the best out there.
