Honestly, I worry about working out because of my EDS and my costochondritis. I've never been able to do pushups because my joints don't function properly. I can hardly do exercises because my body doesn't function properly anymore. And I'm only 20... sighs I'm going to be restarted some basic exercises and hope that I can get my body to at least function a little better than it is now.

This video has some good information, but this guy also has the tell-tale signs of steroids. Look at the deformation of the nipples in particular. See how they point downwards? That is a sign of either a higher presence of estrogen, or artificial testosterone.

My "theory" on One Punch man is that the dedication behind his exercise routine is what got him the insane power. Since in the series, we see a bunch of other people get powers based on their obsessions. For example in episode 1 we see a guy that obsessively ate shrimps every day and it turned him into a shrimp monstrosity. We see environmentalists getting environment based powers. We see Pig god - a guy obsessed with eating, getting power to eat most enemies, etc.

And Saitama's obsession was getting stronger, so he ended up getting the ultimate strength.

For a beginner running 10km every day may not be recommended, but the training load otherwise is also not beginner friendly. For an experienced runner 10km per day is actually a rather low load and for professionals 200 km per week are normal.

i remember randomly doing 75 incline pushups on my staircase everyday for a few months before i actually work out and it somehow succeeded, i kinda established a decent strength basis for me to do these basic trainings without struggling or having difficulties

Guys, it's not the exercises, it's the "no air conditioner on summer, no heater on winter" that creates champions.

I'm not disagreeing with what is said here. However, we aren't all identical.

When I first started lifting weights back in high school, my max bench was 90 lbs. I was very scrawny. My friend and I did 10 sets of 10 6 days a week for bench. Or, well, we tried to. We'd try to complete 10 sets of 10 and once we were able to complete a set at a given weight, we would increase the weight by 5 lbs. the next day. I went from a 90 lbs. max to a 275 lbs. max in about 6 months. I went from being scrawny to competing at state in powerlifting in my weight class by doing burn outs 6 days a week.

Now, when I tried that with deadlifts and squats, it didn't work. My body definitely needed longer recovery times.

Burn outs over too long of a period are deleterious, but to say that beginners will sabotage their gains by doing so ignores the differences among people.

I'm sure that the point of Saitamas training regime was to make the audience think, "wait is that all he did". He is supposedly an ordinary guy that lives in a world where super heroes and villains are a very common occurrence and he then one day starts to train to become a super hero (just for fun) and he does so with a relatively easy work out (which indicates that he probably wasn't that ordinary in the first place).

You ever realize how the arguments against this regiment are parallel to Saitama's issue? Specifically that he no longer feels any progression in life and is completely stagnant in life?

May be Saitama thought he's amazing power based in training. But I think his power may based in battle. When he fight, may be he used all muscle. And He always fight and saved people(ex. KING). So I think Saitama's power based on battle.

But free is nonexistent

Finally he lost hair.......

It is so sad story.

So, if you're training for U.S. special forces like BUD/S, Ranger School, MarSOC, etc, don't listen to this guy. You will be doing thousands of push ups, full sit ups because you need those hip flexors to develop good fining techniques for those long ass Bay swims.

Thanks man this is great info.
Also, I have an amazing story of anyone's interested. One day I was driving home and I felt the presence of the Lord, come down to me from above. It was as real as anything and I felt so comfortable with Him.
I knew if I asked Him to play a song on the radio, He would.
So I said "Ok Lord, play Come as you are..."
I didn't know what station it was on or anything, but I turned the radio on and the song started playing right on the spot, perfectly...
I started getting flooded with chills inside, trembling, and crying tears of joy. When I got home, He stayed with me for 10 minutes till I got out of the car.

I've been getting amazing prayers answered for around 6 years since, because that experience made me stop doubting when I pray, and I follow Biblical instructions, best I can.
