As frisia you should attempt to recreate the borders of magna frisia by conquering the northern european coastline from zeeland (netherlands) to the top of jutland in (denmark) and re-create the rage of the frisii tribes by conquering rome and converting it to frisian culture. As a final show of strength and true show of friese frijheit you can dismantle the HRE. Should be a fun game and not too difficult for someone at your skill level! Just imagine the buckets of ducats you will be earning through trade

Quick tip- if you're playing tall, make sure to Expand Infrastructure! Each level is a small amount of admin points in return for a ~5% boost to basically everything in a province (including dev cost and building cost), and you can do it once every 15 development, which is a big help if you're an OPM. It also lets you build extra manufactories. The button is a bit hard to find, it's the little green plus button underneath the buildings in a province (the other bar is the downgrade bar for infrastructure).

As East Frisia own all provinces in Europe with east (or a translation of it) in their name.

Back to the roots, doing what you intended as Aachen when this series started, it's amazing.

State maintenance with just a capital state ? The reform with trade would have yielded much more gold I believe, especially if you can steal your subject's trade once the'yre loyal

I had an idea for an A-Z Challenge that you could use for any nation. I call it 'No better Friend, no worse Enemy'. To complete the challenge, fully annex 7 rivals and never break an alliance or refuse a call to arms. It would probably work well when you start as a small nation.

Quarbit did a similar run a while back but he concentrated development in all his HRE vassals. All you have to do is dev a little after to kind of balance things out for opinion. He ended up with over 1k development in his one province.

In 1514 24 Imperial Counts and Dukes tried to invade Ostfriesland to claim the county for themselves and were repelled by the local Count Edzard of Ostfriesland, thus the challenge should be to defeat a coalition that contains at least 24 nations

You could have set all of you vassals to marches since you never planned to integrate them.

Anyway - great campaign. I might actually try something like that some time.

What do you think about this Improve Admin Investment Ability in the Province Building Screen? I dont see real downsides, but dont see people using it aswell?

If anyone else wants to ever do that, don't forget to also expand the infrastructure of your province (small button with a plus on it in the buildings section).
It provides a lot of really nice benefits, and basically no downsides, since you don't care about your governing capacity (As long as you don't expand)

i like to take diplo, get my big allies to carry me in wars and pillage everyones capitals and take all the ducats from 10+ minors at once

East Frisia doesn't start off in the empire which makes it a good nation to exodus to. As east frisia don't join the empire when asked and instead exodus to another nation and colonize.

As East Frisia, own the Easternmost province on the map.
