What if RADITZ Survived? (Full Story)

Fun fact: This missed out on being my longest scenario by ~40 seconds (“What if Frieza Raised Kakarot?” is still my longest, until the Evil Goku one drops at least). Thanks to everyone who supported it along the way, and I hope the new viewers enjoy!

Raditz one shotting Nappa. I won't expect anything less from the Son family. At the end of the day, Raditz is still Goku's older brother and Gohan's uncle.

really interesting, and the story writing here is nice and entertaining. the one thing I'm not a fan of (so far, about a third in) is the power levels. I don't understand your logic behind them, and they seem to be kinda random, and I wish you explained your reasoning. Based on the power increases from Piccolo's fusions, he should be much stronger from multiple. Especially if you place him at 80,000 while gravity training on earth (which seems fair) and then also having his potential unlocked after more training with Raditz. He probably could whoop Frieza's 100% full power form. If limiting his strength was for the sake of the story, then you didn't need to throw the extra namekians in. Just have Nail go. It serves the same purpose mechanically, but makes more sense that way.

The scenario started out well, but wow it gets a LOT better after Cell! 👌

Aside from Goku being uncharacteristically unforgiving to Raditz for so long compared to the others in canon, this a very fun what-if.

The whole Vegeta Black arc was quite literally just, "First of all, I am Vegeta. Second of all, you're not Vegeta. Third of all, you want to be Vegeta, but you can't be Vegeta, because I'm Vegeta."

Holy crap, this is honestly my favorite What-If you’ve ever done, masterful work here. Loved the fact that not even you could hold back your laughter at the final part.

I've been watching a lot of these what ifs and I must say this is my favorite . Particularly because of what happens with Vegeta. Amazing story

I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this but if you swap the first and last part of goditz name it spells itz god which goes quiet nicely with the UI and UE forms

I'm a bit confused, did future Vegeta also merge with Buu? If he didn't go to earth to fight the Androids, why would he go to get buu if Babidi isn't in control of him? (Edit: Okay, I think I get it now. Nevermind!)

This is one of my favorites. It also makes me wonder about these 2 scenarios:

1. Nappa survives, but not Vegeta.

2. This sounds crazy and messy, but what if Nappa, Raditz, and Cell all survive, but each of them stay neutral for a while? I wonder what the situations are with each of them. With Nappa, I see him being solely looking for himself more, especially if Vegeta betrayed him. Raditz would be like Nappa, but grows to accept Goku and the others, learning how he can get stronger and understanding that teamwork can even the odds. Cell would be interested with everyone and stays antagonistic, working with Nappa to not only with substantially improving his power but also convincing Cell to create his own "team" for the Cell Games. During the Cell Games, 17 and 18 are removed from Cell, but Cell survives and becomes Super Perfect. After Cell is defeated by SS2 Gohan, he and Nappa, who was severely beaten, fall back.

For Buu, Nappa and Cell would choose to stay out so they can train and plot some kind of revenge.

Later on, I can see those three growing more uncomfortable with Goku and Vegeta surpassing them greatly after Beerus first appears.

Cell remains on Earth to make himself, Piccolo, and Gohan stronger. Nappa comes along with Raditz, Goku, and Vegeta to learn how to handle God Ki, partly to avoid being seen as pathetic. He starts to warm up and starts to let go of his hatred to Vegeta.

The Saiyans are surprised about Broly, and they are surprised with how powerful he is. The insecurities Nappa has of being the weakest comes to light. After reconciling with Vegeta and through Fusion, a Fusion of Nappa and Raditz (Rappa or Nappitz) with Gogeta take on Broly.

For Superhero, it goes pretty similar, but Cell personally fights Cell Max, his pride of being the perfect Android being destroyed at the thought that he was obsolete. With this, he finally buries the hatchet with Gohan to take down Max.

The second idea was just a collection of random thoughts. Tried to organize them to have an outline. I definitely have left out the stuff with Freiza, as I don't have and intention to come up with the full story.

The only thing I hate about this is how much goku doesn’t like or trust raditz no matter what he does goku doesn’t give mans a chance very unlike goku tbh

I love this story. It has every character pursuing a different line of power, especially with Vegeta.

My first change is that Goku would much prefer pursuing the power of Kaioken over SS2, even before they realize that SS2 is a thing, as he saw Kaioken as his way to grow past the power of SSJ. This means that Goku at base power grows much stronger, due to Kaioken artificially giving him Zenkai Boosts, as it tears up his body. Raditz on the other hand, after seeing Gohan use SS2, decides to pursue said power line, leading to SS3 being unlocked mid Buu Saga by both Gohan and Raditz. (They trained together due to the Gohan unlocking SS2 first) Vegeta Buu Saga goes the same otherwise. We then have our hero’s go there separate ways as Goku pursues Kaioken, Vegeta pursues his Magical abilities, Gohan becomes a Writer and a Scholar, and Raditz pursuing power beyond SS3. Gods Saga is changed as Goku is now the strongest at base, but not by much, and has unlocked Kaioken x60. Raditz is now able to use SS3 for a much longer time, and Vegeta is a much the same, though wanting to rival the two, is stronger. Due to all of this, plus Whis being interested in the similar mindset one must take on to use Kaioken and Ultra Instinct, Goku is suggested to become the first SSG. Raditz, much like Vegeta in the OG story, thinks that the ritual is a cop out and so he continues to pursue the SSJ line thinking that there must be something beyond this. It is here that he thinks back to his tail, and how his tail may be the key to unlock some sort of power beyond SS3. It’s not long after that he unlocks Super Saiyan 4. Due to his familiarity with Super Saiyan, and his desire to pursue its strength, his SS4 puts him on par with SSG Goku.

Most of the story plays out the same, except for a few key exceptions. Because of the Nature of SS4, being a mix of the Oozaru state and SSJ, Raditz becomes curious as to whether he could combine SS2 into the mix. This leads to a situation much like that of SSB where he then gains a new form, being SS5. This form makes him want more, and he pursues SS6 while training under Beerus, along with his unlock of Ultra Ego. SS6 is revealed at the beginning of ToP, while UE is revealed during the fight with Topo. Due to Goku having only unlocked SSJ and not being nearly as familiar with the power due to his lack of focus and training on it, he has yet to unlock SSB unlike Vegeta, who did unlock SSB (though like in the story, it’s actually Rose.) This means Goku is weaker in the ToP without the use of Kaioken, but at this point he has unlocked the use of Kaioken 100, and is able to use Kaioken 20 at a constant rate. This does make up for his lack of power. Otherwise, the story ends up being the same with the exception being that Goku is able to easily stack Kaioken upon any of his forms including UI, and Raditz is able to easily stack SSJ on most of his forms like UE. Vegeta on the other hand, being partially divine in nature, has a much easier time pursuing a path with God Ki, and he unlocks something past SSBevolved. He goes to Super Saiyan Rose 2, witch he can stack with Divine form.

Raditz is the Strongest at full power
Goku is the strongest at base, but with Kaioken, he temporarily becomes the strongest at full power (so long as the Kaioken is high enough)
Vegeta is not as strong at base but is able to keep up with Raditz due to SSR2. Piccolo stays much the same, but is stronger as he tries and keeps up with Raditz. Gohan is much the same, but he, like his Uncle decides to pursue SS4 along with Beast.

Due to these changes, Goku is a much stronger fighter at base, has an easier time unlocking Mastered UI, and is much better at the Kaioken Tecnique. Raditz is able to pursue a power away from his brother, allowing for him to continue down the SSJ route, thusly allowing him to stack such a form upon others. He does not unlock God Ki. Vegeta is able to pursue Divine Vegeta, and SSR2.

Ultimately, each character pursues a different route of power much earlier, causing there unique forms (UI, UE, and Divine) to be much more unique and much more suited to there powers. It also gives each character a different fighting style that will play into there troupes. I would like a story like that.
