In the Philippines, our dash is black and not white.
I don't know why it's white outside my country.
It must be some form of government rule thing? I don't know.
But I can definitely say ours look better with the black tachometer.
I like this very much, but only concern is its meter... It should have been LED meter
ОтветитьThis channel is the Donut Media Up to Speed of motorcycles and we need more videos.
ОтветитьWhat an absolute idiotic video. Benelli is 3 times cheaper. End of logic.
ОтветитьThanks for giving a height comparison! Not many do. I'm looking at various dual purpose bikes for general gravel road exploration, but at 5' 7'' this one may be a little too high, combined with over 200kgs weight. Great bikes though!
ОтветитьCompare Benelli with BMW ahahahahah you are so funny!
ОтветитьHeavy as hell!!!
Ответитьneeds a bit more power imo, find this a hard sell over a cb500x which is similar in power, benneli sure does look nice imo
ОтветитьThanks ✌🏻😊
ОтветитьA good used buy then?
ОтветитьBad Weight to Power ratio and not A off-road bike its better on road.
Ответить"Dimensions of a bike 3 to 4x the power". Lol, the 1250GS only has 136 bhp, if you multiply 47bhp by 4 you get 188, not many adv bikes around with that power 🤣
ОтветитьIt's because it's popular in China, that's why.
ОтветитьDo you know about the
Voge 500DS
Wasn't Benelli supposed to release a 752cc adventure bike? In 2023
ОтветитьCheck out SOUL WITH WINGS, how he play with 502x
ОтветитьHave my 502x for just over a year now. First thing you need to do is swap the pads for HH all over the stock are absolute rubbish. Second, Throw a 16tooth front sprocket on with a D.I.D X-ring chain. the stock chain rusts super quickly and was just meh , with the 16 tooth you will notice a reduction in vibrations on motorway riding and get a little more top end torque. Third , get LED bulbs and a decent set of auxiliary lights on it, the stock isnt bad but isnt good its just ..... meh. with a full LED kit this thing is a dream on dark back roads night riding.
As for the windscreen , im 6ft 3 and bought the PUIG touring windscreen and can safely say there is zero wind noise of buffeting. stock exhaust is absolutely lovely and there is no need for an aftermarket can whatsoever. All in all i would say this bike is a dream to drive but has some nit picky hickups such as the breaks and the headlights. overall id say its a 7.5/10 from me and definitely worth considering for someone looking for the GS style and comfort without paying GS money.
My 502TRK as been in my ownership for 4yrs 6mth, 14k now lock down didnt help with mileage. However nothing as gone wrong the bike as performed faultlessly. The only thing I was not happy with was the dead feel to the brakes especially the back one, replacing with EBC pads transformed that and an elastic band chain which despite regular adjusting/cleaning/lubing only saw 6k. The bike as been parked outside with a cover since new ands as seen very little deterioration of component parts fixtures and fittings just given a dose of ACF50 once every 6mths. Despite the press and testers banging on about the weight cant say I ever really had an issue with it, mines the non X which is slightly lower. Would I recommend the bike yes and thats after 43yrs of riding everything from heavy weight cruisers to Fire Blades and everything else between. Thanks for the review, enjoyed it.
ОтветитьThank you for this review.
I am trying to figure out if I need to trade in my Tiger sport 660 for the Benelli non X model.
The Benelli's seat and seating position is so much more comfortable when I sat on it in the showroom!
All of my Versys 650's I could ride for 4 hours while on the Triumph my max is 30 min.
Thanks for this! I'm excited to get my first trk! 502x!!
ОтветитьMy lifetime motto has always been. Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki & Kawasaki. No other brands are considered. Never let down in over half a century. You have an XSR900. Just lift the seat and look at the precision loom routing, quality connectors and components. It's a different world than Italy, Germany or India etc. Little men in white factory overalls and white gloves with perfection etched into their national psyche! Cheers.
ОтветитьWhat about moto morini x cape head to head
Ответитьthe 360 crank does it no favours but its clone brother , the QJ SRT 550 has a 270 craank , therefore lighter crank and tft dash , just sayin ;)
ОтветитьProbably because it’s very cheap, doesn’t get much more straightforward than that.
ОтветитьWow I figured you would say 5, I am in the US and have ridden all my life o all kinds of bikes. I am looking at an Adventure Bike. But don’t want to spend 20k and find out I am not stoked on it. So I figured I would pick up the 502X and see how it goes. Thanks for the info
ОтветитьI had one, not gonna lie, first off I really liked it but over time the build quality started to show, rust and wear and tear, also total lack of power, weighs an absolute ton! Now I have an Africa twin…. O yeh and the servicing was a total pain in the arse, next to impossible to get hold of parts numbers let alone the actual parts
ОтветитьI bought one for work in 2019 it’s just past 30.000 thousand and hasn’t missed a beat.
Ответитьchinese? NOPE!
ОтветитьBeen using TRK502 for 3 years. 100k km millage clock. Using for daily commuting 168 km. Suit my need & budget. Easy to maintain. Easy to troubleshoot if there is problem. Rarely give problem. Reliable.
Here in Malaysia there is a lot of people using for daily commuting to work. Some even clock more than 200k km millage in 5 years.
Got a Benelli 502 (non-X) in 2021. There wasn't much inventory at that time and this was an unexpected option.
Did 12,000+ miles in 14months throughout New England, Blue Ridge, Dragons, OBX, etc.
Not a SINGLE HICCUP!
Comfortable, smooth, MPG was >50 routinely and a couple of stretches up to 60mpg.
The weight wasn't noticeable at speed as it would tip in easily and held a line nicely (with upgraded rubber to Michelin Road6).
I intentionally went for the weight/power ratio as a returning rider and it didn't let me get in over my head.
Even though I had the road-biased version, it handled a few intentional off-pavement sections (and a couple of Oh-shit-where-am-I navigational errors).
Excellent value for the $$ but not going to get your adrenaline pumping if your looking for huge power and torque. A solid performer.
Will instantly get the 702 as soon as they reach this continent.
Maybe because it's 4 times cheaper? :D
ОтветитьWhat a great channel. Good luck man you make great videos
ОтветитьHi, I have been using the TRK502 ( without the X) since 2019. First series, with all the childhood diseases. Very, very comfortable and nothing has broken. Surprising even to me. I agree with: Glass - too low, Plastics - needed to be lined with foam. My version is without illuminated switches. And the brakes - the TRK502 has much stronger brakes than the X version. Four pistons on each front caliper. And the engine? I already know machines with 50000km on the odometer. Still all OK.
ОтветитьHave you tried the Moto Morini X-cape? Little more money but pretty good.
ОтветитьYet another adventure bike with a buffeting problem, just like my V-Strom.
ОтветитьGood review...can you put the mic on a stand? Looks weird holding it like that
ОтветитьAm I seeing wrong, or doesn’t it have only the left hand guard? 🤔
ОтветитьOf course it does. The BMW is a rip off
ОтветитьIt sure is a great bike with great success. But it has only one fault. The weight. If you have a chance try and ride a KOVE 500x, which has a similar power output, even better components and weights 40kg less. Pure joy of riding.
ОтветитьNah A2 allows upto 94HP but then restricted down to 47HP.
This allows you to take a legal risk and remove the restrictor on your bike. Legal... No, but there are plenty of bikes that have this as part of their hidden appeal.
@UrgetoRide What bike do you normally ride?
ОтветитьIntelligent bike🎉
ОтветитьTrust me. You do need 160hp on an adventure bike 😜 great review!
ОтветитьGood review well done
ОтветитьI think Benelli have some private musicians to help tune their exhaust. All Benelli twins sounds close to inline 4s.
ОтветитьAnd no I don’t agree it’s just bikes. It’s about what the country stands for and how they conduct themselves. Property theft, currency manipulation, claims on other counties borders, economic coercion, threats of war, hiding covid, buying up countries medical supplies before admitting it’s a problem? Then handing back inferior products. So no it’s more than a bike isn’t it. It’s about supporting a regime that does this and more. So no I will never buy a Chinese brand, and if I can I will not buy a non Chinese brand made in China.
Ответитьhi mr. urge, i really enjoy watching your videos from here in n.y. i was just wondering if you ever ride older sport bikes. the early 90s zx7 is my all time favorite bike. i would really like to hear your thoughts.
ОтветитьAnother great video 💪Can’t wait for the next one in Summer 2025
