The Army has gotten so freaking soft!!!!! This first day is different from when i joined in 1992!
ОтветитьThis made me laugh out loud.
ОтветитьNotice the politically correct females front and center thrown in with the men --- unlike with previous generations in the military. No wonder young men are no longer joining the woke military. Today's military deserves to be hurting in recruitment!
ОтветитьDang they taking my Cheetos
ОтветитьDidn’t have to do this gay shit in the Air Force 😂
ОтветитьI'd have taken my personals in a have a nice day carrier bag and one lollipop for the tray
ОтветитьWhat do they do with the items that they put in the trays. If they aren’t returned at the end of training then it’s technically stealing.
ОтветитьMust be nice. Marines were a full 180
ОтветитьThinking for yourself and being an individual not necessary.
ОтветитьDefinitely not Marine Corps
ОтветитьSucks that reception isn’t anywhere near like it is in this video
ОтветитьWish I could join
ОтветитьThis ain’t the Boy Scouts, the new recruits should have known before go in on their first day.
ОтветитьThat was by far my favorite time in the U. S. Army was basic training at Fort Dix in 1964 '))
ОтветитьCrazy that it’s been 13.5 months since I arrived to 120th BN at Jackson. It’s a very foggy memory but I made some good friends while at reception before even going to my BCT company.
Ответить25% of the them will be kicked out and given 100% SC disability for PTSD. I see the WOKE kids every day working for the VA. Yes I am also retired Military.
ОтветитьWOKE Military 😅
ОтветитьSure didn't do all that crap when I came in in 1986....we couldn't bring anything to basic training but your body lol.
ОтветитьTell race
ОтветитьWow these young men & women have it easy 30 years ago at Basic they came into the Barracks no warning whatsoever & dump our sh@t all over the floor yelling at us non stop & if you had a picture of your girlfriend oh boy "The Dear John Jokes" came out Lol. Weak & not doing these recruits any favor by being soft.
ОтветитьIt's hard to believe it's been 26 years since I did basic training at Fort Jackson...
Treasure time, for it flies.
This is pathetic. Drill instructors are so sensitive and have absolutely no sense of urgency. You’re training war fighters, not daycare. No wonder the Army is so undisciplined and can’t handle the effects of war. Embarrassing.

ОтветитьThat’s depressing, all that ridiculous nonsense to take a poverty level job, McDonald’s job’s would be more productive and profitable. I guess losers like them would be happy with a minimum wage job.
ОтветитьI wish to God we didn’t have Joe Biden and Harris and had a real president that these young people could look forward to joining the military I wouldn’t recommend any service today with Joe Biden as the commander in shelf!
ОтветитьI think today’s generation would start crying
ОтветитьHoly s*** all kinds of memories just flooded back of that room at about 1:30 in the morning when I arrived at Jackson.
ОтветитьDefinitely not my basic training experience. This is too calm. I enjoyed the constant pressures of basic training. They’ve softened it down. I don’t like
ОтветитьRun while you still can
Ответить"Stop moving, and listen." Lol
ОтветитьThis is where I did my basic at.
ОтветитьDI's have changed since 1979 / 1980, they no longer get up close & personal
ОтветитьComing from a old school military Veteran of Vietnam was a Security Specialist USAF this is no longer like when I got into boot camp.
ОтветитьDon’t take anything with you. If it’s something you’re gonna need for the next 9+ weeks they will make sure you have it. Otherwise you probably won’t be allowed to have it.
When it’s grad week, just tell your parents, family member, wife, husband, whoever, to bring what you want to take to AT/AIT with them when they come see you graduate. If you have no one coming to see you graduate, wait until you get your pass for the day, and go buy whatever you need at a PX. At AT/AIT you’ll eventually get to go off base on weekends, if you are lucky. At that point you can start buying wants and not just needs. But I would still recommend stowing any wants until you are completely finished and sent back home (guardsman/reservists) or to your new home (active.)
Going to die free Israel but can't secure freedom here at home
ОтветитьNope, I chose college
ОтветитьI put a few precious things in the amnesty box.
ОтветитьRelaxin jackson
ОтветитьDell 🎉
ОтветитьI still dream about Iraq and Afghanistan almost daily. This is a whole ass different lifestyle so if you're a va-jay-jay then this isnt for you lol. Although these days they have safe spaces and shit ive heard so the military has gone soft
ОтветитьSure, the guy is calm, and
nice. Teaches nothing about managing stress and how to think clearly in stressful environments. There’s been a massive pussification of our armed forces. But hey, maybe the future of warfare is just respectful debate.
brings back memories lol...its awful quiet, no one getting yelled at. soft!!!
ОтветитьWonder if anyone’s ever brought anything you’re not supposed to such as drugs are cigarettes or anything like that liquor like how he’s telling everyone to shake it all out
ОтветитьI did basic at Jackson many years ago. We were hauled in a cattle trailer like meat because that was what we were at day one. No DS spoke without screaming until we reached a classroom. This so called shake down isn't stressful at all, it's like an empty church. All personnel training to fight for this country and be dependable to each other should be able to handle stress that is off the charts and still make rational decisions. This is what makes soldiers that never give up.
ОтветитьBro are you kidding me? They dont yell anymore? Sounds like Grampa talking. This country is s doomed yall
ОтветитьWork hard troops, the CEO of Northrop needs a new Yacht.
ОтветитьBring back the shark attack!
ОтветитьI brought my cologne to basic training. Lmao
ОтветитьDamn that brings back memories. I arrived there at 1:00 am on January 6th 1966 along with a bunch of smart ass know it all teenagers. Boy did we learn fast to pay attention and learn.
ОтветитьIt was 12 am when I arrived Things have changed somewhat, in 60 years when I went to basic.
Rapport has gotton much sweeter, there was much more f- cking adjectives used. We were known as G.D. maggots,
