How to program the Schluter®-DITRA-HEAT-E-RSD Thermostat- Fahrenheit

I find these thermostats nothing but frustrating. If the power goes out they lose all programming and revert to degrees farenheit. Why these units can't have a button battery cell in them to remember the program, as my outside light timer does. So the other day I programmed the thermostat after the power came back on, and of course now the fawking thing is in security mode. What do I have to do to get it out of security mode?????, go to the panel and shut the power off to reset it. And of course lose the program. These units have about as much customer forethought as a sledgehammer. I would never recommend this thing to anybody I like.

How do I turn it off

I programmed the 4 periods of the day and copied them onto each day as usual but its not working. I notice the security mode is on which it wasnt before. Is this part of the problem?

The picture of the clock/leaf are flashing. Is that normal or does it mean something.

Fantastic video, thanks! What happens if the ambient temperature just isn't getting to the set temperature. I've set the a/c at 22 degrees celsius and it won't budge past 24?! For days! Any suggestions?

Please post the link for the users guide that would be available on-line for this model. We have not been able to locate it on the Schluter web site. Apparently ours is locked and I am assuming that there are instructions regarding how to unlock the device...? Thank you.

Thank you so much for this video! It's exactly the info that I needed. My installer didn't leave me any brochures and I have been trying to figure out how to use the thermostat. This video was so clear even I could understand how to do it LOL.
