I still haven't watched the whole thing, but I just have to note that I really enjoy when you look up words that you don't know the meaning of (not the first time you've done that, either). It's just a small thing that... I dunno, it kind of proves to me that you are genuinely interested in the stories you're reading and aren't just doing it to check things off the list. Keep up the great work!
Also, Taric's on everybody's side! He's the protector of beauty and life in general, it would take a lot for him to dislike someone.

Most of the new lore stuff comes from legends of runeterra's flavour text.

for reversing the shuriman ascension, i recommend reading Twilight of the Gods where they use the power of the moon to do exactly thaf and it's story is about the darkins & ptsd and previous Twilight aspect is also there.

the eclipse skinline is the enemies (nemesis) of the coven skinline.

Guess you can see Diana and Leona as Morgana and Kayle, but change sisters to lesbians. Both “dark” sides are morally more right, both “light” side are more stubborn in their beliefs

About the parts of the story that you say you don't know the origin of even though you read and watched through all of it, well, it's kinda complicated... So you know how cards in Legends of Runeterra come in updates as expansions right? So, each card has an additional description when you click on the full artwork and all of these descriptions from the same expansion (very often, but not always) tell an additional story that you basically have to puzzle together yourself and these "secret" stories can't be read anywhere else other than Legends of Runeterra card descriptions. For example, one of those stories is the tale of Tyari the Traveler (human; a playable card) becoming The Traveler (celestial constelation; also a card).

in the new canon they give us a story about youn diana and leona and his past as girlfrends and how this is broken because they become the chosen of the aspects

diana have voice lines with nocturne just because he also use the Nigthfall mechanic in the card game so there is a high chance u have them both in your deck

Yeah whenever you hear the old voice lines or death sounds those are still in the game. Champs would only get new lines on a visual update or in higher tier skins.

I mean... If she can reverse the effects granted by the sun, she can basically return Xerath and Renekton back into being human (taking away their ascension)

Also, the most possible reason The aspects chose the two is because of their ties with their respective beliefs. Leona is devoted to Solari while Diana has greater fascination for the Lunari.

The thing about Taric is that his aspect is "The Protector". It would make sense that he would be leaning more on the lunari since its the side that is being oppressed.

Also, Zoe the aspect of Twilight was a lunari before turning into an aspect. So the lunari isnt that helpless at all.

Winterblessed Diana is easily her best skin, the 3d model viewer doesn't do it justice bc there are many missing assets in the 3d model viewer that couldn't show, you should watch the skin spotlight

So you become less confused with things like what are the aspects goals or stuff like that i suggest that you did a reaction to necrit's story of league of legends explained video. You woulde learn a lot

Yes, they use the old voicelines for the champions even if it is not up to current lore

If you are interested in another of those short stories there is one called For Demacia that deals with Garen and Lux fighting an evil entity. Maybe you could pair that with a Garen reaction?

iirc, the lore you couldn't find comes from the ingame events. Diana was one of the first releases who got a nice little mini event ingame which fleshed out both her and Leona (og) more. I sometimes wished riot would put official transscripts or something from past events just to preserve the lore of it (tho that might be useless now, depending on what gets redconned with the 1 and only lore thingy happening)

and yes, if there was no update to champions, the old ones are as they were

and due to Champions only a bit later (end 2012 or 2013) getting a login screen with their release, not all old champs have one and Leona is an OG, none of them have one. The music or login screens or trailers u might find of those champions are always for big special skins or skin lines

also Diana and Leona remind me a bit of the Kayle and Morgana dynamic. I like both Morgana and Diana better than their counter parts, both in design and character

Ooh, I hope Twisted Fate and Malcolm Graves are a double feature. Though it would be pretty long. They both got their own solo story, Burning Tides part 1, 2, and 3, Destiny and Fate, the Nilah one, "You will know joy" I believe, and The Boys and Bombolini. They are also featured in the legends of runeterra shorts, Double, Double Cross, and Don't Mess With Yordles
Graves has a Legendary Skin too

To be honest you can't blame Leona or Diana for their disagreement when they became Aspects.
You can day there divergence will happen one way or another it is inevitable.

I prefer Diana's gameplay
Because she can be AD, AP or Jungler.

What makes me saddest is in the League of Runeterra animation, after the lovers (one Lunari and the other Solari) decide to run away and ascend together, they simply look at each other with pain in their eyes of "it could be us". They could have stayed together and loved each other even though they were from different places, but I think pride don't let them anymore.

That last hymn of sun and moon choked me up. They and their Aspects should be together!
