Most of these outfits look too try hard though. If you are an average guy walking around, you would get some side eye and snarky comments for dressing like him. I've seen the classiest dressed ladies dating guys wearing cheap hoodies, jeans, and boots. But those guys look very street smart and like the girl feels really protected by them. She's attached to that type of guy for the same reason she is attached to her dog. Its the protection that she gets. I've seen plenty of super duper well dressed dudes with butt ugly girls. If she thinks other guys will leave her alone because she is with you, then you pretty much have her. I'm not saying that all women's lives are dominated by protection but you'd be surprised. Even in this day and age, the old social survival phenomena still rule the social landscape.
