A slight correction on something you mentioned at the start of the video, and a tiny tidbit of information, the pepper skins are something we can't digest due to it being made of cellulose, as for the reason for why some people can get upset stomach from eating it with skin on, is due to the different types of wax mixtures and coating that various companies put on the produce in order to give it a shinier surface on the skin, and that's what people have a reaction to. TLDR, the bell pepper skins are not something people will have a reaction to in general, it's what's on it, rinse it with tap water while gently rubbing it will remove the coating.

Bellpeppers dont upset a stomach unless there is sth seriously wrong with them or you are allergic to them. Even with the skin on.

Seems like an immersion blender would be much safer, easier overall, and reduce all the extra clean up. Just clean the blender part…not the bowl, lid, and blade.

Use scallots, BLACKEN those peppers on a flame (it tastes better), use some fresh rosemary and thyme, blend right in the pan with a wand-blender, and definitely use more butter. Tomato is entirely optional and completely changes the flavor if you go over a couple teaspoons. Same with a white wine deglaze when the onions are almost cooked -completely changes the style and isnt necessarily better. Toss in some finely chopped parsley as you toss in the poorly drained pasta and it looks and tastes fabulous. You can even leave the cream out it will be so smooth (but I wouldnt).
