Ответить“Missionaries in the Philippines” is so cringe these days.
Imagine trying to convert a nation that’s already the largest Christian nation in Asia. 🤦🏻♂️😑

ОтветитьAman a pilipino rispec my girl proud to be apilipino
ОтветитьAs a transplanted Filipino living in the US, it’s easier to communicate with Americans in an office setting, because the English we learn is formal English. It’s is a little bit different in a social setting since we are brought up interacting socially in Tagalog and Taglish which is really not understood if you are in a group with non Tagalog speakers.
ОтветитьHer filipino husband is so lucky to have her. It's like hitting the lottery jackpot prize.
ОтветитьPo as being respectful to your elder. I know what you mean, I get that from my nephews when I visited the Philippines when I was around 30. I told them don't use po at me.
ОтветитьI have a good time watching your conversation. Ann is very charming that's reason how your husband was captivated by her. I can understand Ann's 'difficulty' interacting with Filipinos in the Philippines. Filipinos are by nature usually shy. But why complicates it is not because they can't speak English nor the way they speak English. The reason is that Filipinos, although they can understand English, they have a hard time expressing what they want to say in English. Knowing English is not the same as speaking English. Overtime, Filipinos are sociable, you just have to find ways to break the barrier. Hope you enjoy the Philippines.
ОтветитьWow! Masaya ako na makakita na kapwa ko american na nagsasalita tagalog din .
ОтветитьJay thank you for making this kind of content. Somehow better understanding on our culture. Get married to a Pilipina😊..
ОтветитьWow Americanize n Filipino recipe for husbnd

ОтветитьSa mga foreigner na gusto matuto mag-Tagalog mahalagang matutunan muna nila bumigkas ng ABAKADA..

ОтветитьYour American guest married to a Filipino is so cute and just being straightforward & frank about her cultural exoerience. Filipinos are fond of vloggers if they happen to like you personally. She can definitely win a lot of followers coz she's so sweet.
ОтветитьCguro pag sinabing filipino time, tumutukoy cguro sa taong late 😅
ОтветитьI guess a lot of foreigners will learn how to deal with Filipinos from both of you. To let you know, Filipinos is easy to deal with because of their friendly attitude. Shy at first but when you got them talk, you’ll be amazed how they become your best friends. As long as you don’t show or say any negativity, they’ll be your “ angel” friend forever! They’ll do the impossible for you…
Ответитьexcellent conten, nice video
Ответитьusing PO nowadays its ok because its sign of RESPECT to both parties
Ответитьas a filipino, i can say na pwede mo gamitin ang "po" kahit sa makakausap mo na hindi po alam kung matanda o bata sya sa iyo, inshort kahit anong edad pwede ka mag po as a respect sa makakausap mo.. parang may psychological thingy yun na kapag gumamit ka una ng po sa makakausap mo nagiging magalang din sila sayo. but im not generalizing na lahat. so ayun 😊
ОтветитьGreat interaction, Jared and Anne! However, and considering the centerpiece or your channel, in general, is Tagalog-speaking non-Filipinos, I thought the "vlog mission" would have been more impactful to your predominantly Tagalog-aware subscribers/viewers (I don't have the statistics to back it up.) had your conversation been directed towards a more Tagalog approach, 75% for example. Afterall, I will venture to say that that's what enticed viewers to your channel. 🙂
Ответитьhow about canadians garbage send in the philippines imao hahaha 😂
ОтветитьMaraming salamat sa pagmamahal!
ОтветитьCan u do diana next pls,. Shes egyptian canadian na super galing
ОтветитьI’ll put my message in Tagalog !! So kailan mo balak magpunta dito sa Pilipinas? Pag punta mo bisita ka dito sa laguna ipapasyal ka namin sa magagandang lugar dito at kakain ng mga pinoy food at tuturuan mag tagalog ng diretso hehe.
ОтветитьSir Jared,i enjoyed your conversation❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьI really enjoyed this interview! I’m a Filipino American. Like so many others, my parents did not teach me Tagalog—they wanted me to assimilate into American culture. It’s one of my biggest regrets that I never learned. I’m 66 years old now and feel that it would be harder for me to learn. I do know a few words and phrases. I took Spanish in high school in the early 1970’s. I live in Maryland.
ОтветитьYou’re amazing, Jared!
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьYou can use “po or ho”. Salamat po or hindi ho.
ОтветитьShe speaks like a Filipina with an American twang👍😀
