Sigma 16-28 is at 2.8 and only marginally havier.. i wish this was 2.8 as well!

This lens will be great to be used with the Airpeak Drone. Now you can zoom optically with a Full Frame camera by remote control.

These little zooms could be easily accomplished with a digital zoom with an 8k, 6k, 4k camera, or a slight push in... seems like an unnecessary lens. 24 or 35mm GM is where it's at.
