You just don't put beans in chili. You don't put spaghetti noodles in chili. I make chili from grilled ribeye chunks, chorizo base, fried onion, adobo, smoky mole, fire roasted nopalitos, fire roasted tomato, ground cumin, ground achiote, fresh Hungarian smoky Paprika, roasted garlic, fire roasted ancho, pasilla, arbol and jalapeno peppers. You can put mushrooms sauteed in butter, liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce in. I skim off chorizo fat and add bacon grease. Reduced dark ale, espresso, cocoa, cinnamon, banana. It is a spicy hot chili. People have whined they can't eat it if there's any hot peppers in it: They have 6 or 9 helpings.
