Just compare this to other cars in the same class and you will see that this car is bad value and badly packaged.

Biggest robbery in history mercedes EVs along with a lots of others.. decreasing in price, power and durability.. not a car but a mobile phone with wheels under your ass .. what a shame. It's just using his star but otherwise its a shitbag next to the GLE

I've been driving an EQE SUV loaner while my EQS SUV gets repaired. Neither one is good with bumpy roads / pot holes. You WILL feel the bumps. The suspension is stiff even in comfort mode! The EQS's massaging seats features a weak massage. So if you're looking for a plush ride and with a good deep quality massage, look elsewhere. Oh, and I was firmly told by Mercedes Benz staff that if I switch the original air suspension to a more plush after-market one, it will void the 4 year warranty.

520L boot space? Really? BMW IX 500l boot space? That's just really dissappointing. Meanwhile a smaller BMW IX3 based on an ICE car already has 500l, and Tesla model y close to 700l. What's up with these expensive E-SUV's with tiny boots? Not diggin it!

Is it correct as is being reported on social media that these EVs are spontaneously combusting causing the loss of at least two cargo ships so far, the last one I believe is still on fire off the coast of the Netherlands. Also that some ferry companies are now banning all EVs because of the possible fire risk,

The tech is what makes the price so so high, but no one has asked for it. The mercedes interior is fancy and gives a luxiourous experience but I prefer the BMW interior quality. For the price of this car, you can buy 2 2020 models, insane.

I drove one of the latest MBUX systems with capacitive controls last month (2023 GLA 200). It was the worst interface experience I've ever had. It borders on dangerous because items that should be intuitive or easy are the opposite and require considerable focus to complete. Let's say you want to select a new playlist for a USB-attached device. If you scroll down on the horrid touchpad (what was wrong with the wheel?), then need to focus on the road for more than a few seconds, the entire menu will reset back to the currently-playing track and force you to start the playlist scroll all over from the alphabetical top. In, say, a BMW, it will remain on the playlist selection screen scrolled to where you left off seemingly indefinitely.

that what happen when everyone jumps in the electric bandwagon without a breakthrough and efficiency technology to make works. it just stay a trend at best atm in lieu of the evolution cars need to be. everything ev these days is just too compromising to run against even a hybrid vehicles particularly in emerging markets and the lack of non premium chep small and medium Ev cars to compare the points.

Ответить
@Vin496
@Vin496 - 07.04.2023 02:33

While I like the idea of the EV, these cars are disposable, They have a life of maybe 10 years, no one wants one 2nd hand, because of the cost associated with them, especially when the batteries need replacement and are no longer under warranty. The tech inside is just so much that within 5 years they could be outdated. I'm sure some people love these huge screens, but if you have ever driven in, it can be too much, plus the range is never actually what they achieve in the real world. Take all the trucks with predicted ranges of 3-400 miles, and 15000 lbs towing capacity. Realistically people are getting around 100 miles and less if they tow anything or load the bed with cargo.

Here in Los Angeles every 10th car is a Tesla, you should see the charging station when you leave the L.A area, there are 30+ cars waiting to charge, you're looking at hours of waiting to charge, then what happens in the next few years when many makers go all electric, but the power grid hasn't been updated to keep pace with the amount of EVs on the road, we already have rolling blackouts during the Summer months, now add all these vehicle getting plugged in at the same time. Not to mention here in California if you don't charge at home, the cost is actually more during some hours than the cost of fuel for a combustion vehicle.

I won't even go into the actual damage lithium and cobalt mining take on the environment and how child labor is involved. I know at some point in the future it will make sense, but that time is not happening before 2035 when here new cars must be EV, If this country was serious about the environment they would build more Nuclear power plants, but everyone freaks out about it, but we have been running a super safe Naval Nuclear program for almost 70 years now. Chernobyl and Three Mile Island, were accidents based on tech that was designed like 60 years ago.
