How many did you get right?!? What do you think of the RP?
ОтветитьIphone noob...
ОтветитьI am ex owner eos R, right 100%. Due to green tint from eos R. Easy to notice it is R.
ОтветитьAll of them
ОтветитьDeal breaker of RP is no flash. I like to have it for "fill" at times, carrying a 'gun just in case is not on.
ОтветитьJust found you video and subscribed.
Sorry three years late, but can you recommend a filming camera for this year? I’m a film major and almost graduating and need to make a short film for my sniper project. I plan to use it outside of this project as well for other short films or web series if I can get it all together lol.
I love my eon r for photos. and my rp is great paired with my ef 10-18 mm lens for vlogging when I do that kind of thing
ОтветитьIt is done, i am convinced.......... i am getting myself an EOS RP
ОтветитьWHAT LENS
Ответитьmaybe turn down the sharpness on the canon rp because it looks to oversharpened
ОтветитьI've been looking to upgrade my camera and it came down to these 2 camers. I'm so glad that you have a video about them 😂
ОтветитьI only got two wrong that were very close. The rest I guessed the EOS R. It did actually look better, but not by much.
Ответитьwow got it all wrong. . . .hahah
ОтветитьI might go for the RP
ОтветитьNot a lot of difference.
ОтветитьWow, I actually did really well!!! I bet no one will see this but RP seems to have a lighter color and sometimes a bit more washed out but since peter was doing a lot of lowlight it was much more difficult to tell
ОтветитьWait I’m confused don’t both camera bodies have an RF mount for the lens? And can’t you use the EF adapter on both so you can use your EF lenses? I’m trying to decide which one I want to use as a second body since I’m currently working with a 5dm3. The fact that the R is able to use the same battery is nice but if I have to buy a whole new set of lenses… I’m not ready to make that switch yet 😅
ОтветитьI wish I can have one of the eos r 🥺
Ответить3 😅
ОтветитьDid you eat all The icecream cake 😂
ОтветитьTrying to jump away from t2i and M3 the R might be a great move.
ОтветитьForget the comparison….. that MAIN ANGLE TRANSITION….. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
ОтветитьCanon Refurbished RP selling for 599
ОтветитьPicked the RP 100% but struggled on shot number 4
ОтветитьI can tell the difference and picked the R every time because I know where the RP struggles (30,000 shutters over 2 years) and this makes me want to buy it more
Ответитьbelieve me, as long as the camera is in good hands tht who knows well how to handle it, the outcome we'll be pretty much outstanding. i know u wont see this @peter ,but been a fan of your work for almost 6 years & counting, fan from Malaysia ❤
ОтветитьWhat about eye tracking focusing and EF lens without spacer ??
Ответитьi don't know but i felt that the RP was better stabilized
ОтветитьYou are literally the best
Ответитьim surprisingly got all right 😂😂
ОтветитьCurious to know what everyone’s thoughts would be how the Canon RP would square up against the Sony a6400. I’d imagine better as it’s a full frame. I’m wanting to “upgrade”. :)
ОтветитьWith the release of the R8, would you still recommend the RP for someone just starting out in photography? I would say more photos than video. Thanks!
ОтветитьGot all but one and that was the next to the last shot.
ОтветитьI’m torn between the Canon RP and the R10. The more videos I watch, the more torn I am. I checked your channel to see if there was anything about the R10 but didn’t see anything. I travel a lot and I’m looking for a camera to vlog, do some astrophotography, take landscape pictures, and some possible action shots. Can you recommend which of those two cameras would be my best bet?
ОтветитьSurprisingly 5/7 right, I’m not even that great of a photographer need to learn more but watching some of Peter McKinnons videos
Ответитьhow is it with picture
ОтветитьI'd like to see a comparison video like this but with photos not video clips (as that's what most people are using the cameras for).. shoot on the same settings like 100iso, 200/1, 7.0; Then we'd really be able to tell the difference.
ОтветитьDang, couldn't make it past the first 10 seconds. I need Ritalin to watch this.
Ответитьin 2023
ОтветитьHello! I currently own a Canon 80D and I am looking to upgrade to a full frame mirrorless body. In your opinion, is the RP an upgrade from that camera? I’m just an aficionado-photography enthusiast, don’t do any pro or semi pro work. Thank you
ОтветитьNo one
ОтветитьThank you for reminding me that saving a few hundred by getting the less expensive model means more budget for lenses. That convinced me to go with the RP. I'm upgrading from a Canon G15 point and shoot (with manual controls and RAW, etc.) so any camera with changeable lenses will be a huge upgrade, and I can always get a more expensive camera down the road if I need it.
ОтветитьWhich lens were you using for the RP and what would you prefer? Thank you!
ОтветитьThe R is better in every shot, but maybe not per $ better.
ОтветитьThat was fun, I picked it all but 2 of the clips. RP had more SOOC contrast, i just bought it recently to up my game. Thanks for this video.
ОтветитьGot 2 wrong
ОтветитьPeter, I am a portrait photographer (shoot wildlife photo as well) who hasn't worked in the industry in 7 years. Mirrorless is a new thing for me. I have a canon t3i from my days hustling. Is the RP a good upgrade to jump into the modern era of photography? And I assume there are adapters out there for EF lens?
ОтветитьNo the Canon EOS R is not worth DOUBLE THE PRICE
ОтветитьCouldnt tell the difference ... RP is a good alternative
