I can’t find high precision event timer all I see is high definition audio controller. I looked everywhere but can’t find it what should I do?

Disabling the High Precision Event Timer and/or setting The High Performance Power option seems to have fixed both the high CPU utilization and the high Disk utilization that my laptop was experiencing. Thank you much....hopefully it is a permanent fix and changes my turtle PC to a rabbit PC.
